While the company was previously known for its powerful mid-drive motors, the Hub Line heralds a new era for elegant urban bikes as the first hub motor in the smart system. Developed specifically for urban dynamics, its 45 Nm of torque immediately provides noticeably lively yet sensitive support. Thanks to a smart sensor function, this always remains precisely controllable and ensures agile riding behavior, taking the effort out of situations such as starting off at traffic lights or moderate inclines. The motor is completely decoupled at speeds above 25 km/h, allowing the eBike to be ridden like a conventional bike with virtually no pedal resistance. This feeling of lightness and agility is additionally underscored by the motor's low weight of only approx. 5.1 lbs. The eBike is easy to carry and remains pleasantly maneuverable in city traffic. At the same time, the compact design supports the minimalist aspirations: with a diameter of only around 3.9 inches, the motor blends discreetly into the hub and becomes an almost invisible part of the clean overall design thanks to its black aluminum housing. As an integral part of the smart system, the Hub Line is fully connected. With the eBike Flow app, the smartphone becomes an intuitive control center for intelligent functions such as theft protection, navigation and personalization. Regular over-the-air updates ensure that the eBike is always up to date. For those who want to glide even more comfortably through traffic, the Hub Line can also be combined with the eShift electronic gear shifting solution. eBike riders can choose between manual or automatic gear shifting and benefit from efficient gear shifting operations at exactly the right moment. PowerTube 360: Energy in its slimmest form In keeping with the clean design of the Hub Line, Bosch presents the slimmest battery in the smart system to date with the PowerTube 360. Its slim profile of just 2.7 inches in diameter enables such inconspicuous frame integration that eBike models can hardly be distinguished from a conventional bike at first glance – the perfect basis for minimalist, urban eBike designs. But it's not just the design that's impressive: the battery's low weight of just approx. 4.6 lbs optimizes the eBike's center of gravity, making it more responsive and dynamic. With 360 Wh, the battery provides reliable energy for daily urban use and ranges of over 50 miles¹. The DualBattery system can easily be extended for longer distances, for example, with the PowerMore 250 Range Extender. Depending on the manufacturer's design, the PowerTube 360 is either removable or permanently installed in the frame. Bosch ConnectModule: Intelligent protection for greater peace of mind Whether for a quick stop at your favorite café or parking in the yard for a longer time – thanks to the Bosch ConnectModule, eBike riders can remain relaxed even when they don't have their eBike in sight. Equipped with GPS, cellular and motion sensors, it forms the basis for advanced digital theft protection functions such as eBike Alarm. The new module generation brings two decisive innovations: It now also uses Bluetooth® Low Energy technology, which enables precise tracking to within a few yards. This means that an eBike can even be found in places where classic GPS trackers reach their limits, such as in basements or backyards. In addition, the module can now be retrofitted more easily to compatible eBikes using a flexible mounting. The extended features are part of the Flow+ paid subscription service. LED Controller: maximum control, minimal design With the new LED Controller , Bosch presents the successor to the LED Remote. Thanks to its design, the new control unit is around 65% smaller than its predecessor, creating a tidy, minimalist look on the handlebar. The focus here is on ergonomics: all five buttons are optimally positioned within the thumb radius and provide noticeable and audible feedback. This allows eBike riders to change the support mode, activate the walk assistance or operate the lights safely without taking their eyes off the road. The LEDs clearly display information such as the riding mode and battery level, while a sensor automatically adjusts their brightness to the ambient light – for optimum readability day and night. A practical USB-C connection with up to ten watts of charging power 2 also enables external devices to be charged. Intuvia 200: Focus through clarity The Intuvia 200 is more than just a display – it's a design statement. Its sleek, minimalist look blends seamlessly into the aesthetics of any eBike and emphasizes the clean look. The 2.4-inch grayscale display provides a razor-sharp image and ensures excellent readability in any weather and from any perspective. Stuttgart/Reutlingen – Confident in the city, relaxed in their free time: Many eBike riders use their eBike for running errands in the city, commuting to work, and going for leisurely weekend rides. For the perfect balance between everyday life and recreation on an eBike, Bosch eBike Systems is making its portfolio of City eBikes even more powerful. The new generation of the Active Line Plus provides more powerful support and is also smaller and lighter. Also new are the Intuvia 200 display and the next generation of the Bosch ConnectModule with improved functions. Bosch is also adding a new battery to the smart system: The PowerTube 720 enables eBike rides of up to 115 miles.Active Line Plus: Natural support for the city Always stay in the flow, navigate through traffic effortlessly, and negotiate ascents with ease: The Active Line Plus has been the tried-and-tested drive unit for City eBikes since 2017. Now the new generation provides even more powerful support. Up to 60 Nm of torque, 600 watts of power, and 340 percent support ensure agile acceleration in the city – allowing riders to master all routes with confidence and ease. In addition, the power of the new drive unit is delivered in a smooth and controlled manner at all times: Thanks to its improved response behavior, the Active Line Plus remains sensitive and responds precisely. Riders can also use the customizable riding modes to adapt it precisely to their personal needs. For added comfort, the new Active Line Plus is compatible with the eShift electric gear shifting solution. If desired, the system automatically takes over the gear shifting operation and always ensures the best gear ratio – ideal for dynamic city traffic or relaxed rides in the countryside. For additional safety and control, the Active Line Plus is compatible with eBikes that have a backpedal brake. The new generation of the Active Line Plus weighs only around 6 lbs and has become even more compact thanks to a new two-stage gearbox. This makes it around 1 lb lighter, reducing the total weight of the eBike and making it even easier to handle in the city. The 17% smaller volume also allows for more discreet integration into modern eBike designs. The new drive unit comes with an optimized sealing and bearing concept that makes it a reliable companion for riders in all weather. During development, Bosch takes care to use materials responsibly. Around 40% recycled aluminum in the housing cuts almost half of the CO₂ emissions compared to conventional aluminum. Recycled materials are also used for plastic components. Intuvia 200: Focus through clarity Simple, intuitive, focused: The new Intuvia 200 display shows riders all important information at a glance. With its excellent readability, modern design, and individual setting options, it turns everyday rides into experiences. The large font and clear design ensure that all riding information can be understood at a glance – even in full sun or at twilight. This is because the 2.4-inch grayscale display automatically adjusts its brightness up to 1,000 nits and thus adapts to changing conditions. High contrasts, deep black values, and good viewing angle stability ensure excellent readability in any weather and from almost any perspective. It is controlled with a separate control unit 1 , allowing both hands to stay on the handlebars. For a carefree riding experience, the Intuvia 200 is permanently mounted on the handlebars – making removal, stowing, or the risk of scratches when stored in a backpack a thing of the past. With its stylish design, the new one-piece housing integrates seamlessly into the look of streamlined eBikes. High-quality workmanship and the full-surface connection of the display glass and LCD panel also make it robust and resistant to dirt and rain. Riders can configure the exact ride data shown on the display themselves: They can select their favorite information in the display settings, e.g., heart rate, elevation, or current smartphone charge level. As part of the smart system, the Intuvia 200 also displays additional information depending on the eBike's equipment – such as the active ABS mode or the gear currently engaged for electric gear shifting. LED Controller: Compact, versatile, advanced With the successor to the LED Remote, Bosch is setting new standards in terms of ergonomics and design. The new LED Controller is around 65% smaller than its predecessor, creating an uncluttered, minimalist look on the handlebars. All important functions can be operated safely with the thumb using five buttons with tactile and audible feedback. The LED indicators adapt to the ambient light and always show clearly legible information such as the riding mode or battery level. A practical USB-C port with up to ten watts of charging power 2 also enables external devices to be charged. Precise tracking with the new Bosch ConnectModule For even more effective theft protection, Bosch eBike Systems is expanding the functions of the Bosch ConnectModule to include precise tracking using Bluetooth® Low Energy technology (BLE). This means that the new generation module can locate a stolen eBike to within a few yards. It can even be found in places where a pure GPS signal reaches its limits – such as in basements or backyards. The Bosch ConnectModule forms the technical basis for digital theft protection in the smart system. Through the interaction between GPS, cellular, and motion sensors, it connects the eBike to the internet, maintaining a connection via the eBike Flow app no matter where the eBike or its owner is located. In the event of suspicious activity of the parked eBike, the system can trigger an alarm and send a notification. The tracking function in conjunction with the ConnectModule is part of the optional subscription service Flow+. Reliable range for long rides: PowerTube 720 Simply set off and forget about the battery level: For spontaneous weekend excursions, Bosch is expanding the smart system with the PowerTube 720 . The powerful new battery weighs only around 8.6 lbs and has an energy density of approx. 185 Wh/kg (84 Wh/lb). Depending on the mode and conditions, rides up to 115 miles are possible. 3 The compact, short construction allows for deeper integration into the frame. This lowers the center of gravity of the entire eBike and ensures more stable handling and a better sense of balance – for example when riding with heavy saddle bags. Depending on the manufacturer, the PowerTube 720 is either permanently installed or can be removed. It is integrated either horizontally or vertically in the eBike frame. The PowerTube 720 is also flexible in combination with the smart system: Because it has the same length and mount, it is interchangeable with the PowerTube 800, PowerTube 600, PowerTube 540, and PowerTube 360, provided the eBike manufacturer has designed the frame for this. The PowerMore 250 Range Extender can also be used for even more range. The PowerTube 720 is additionally protected with the Battery Lock digital function: In the event of theft, the battery is deactivated, making it useless to thieves. Peace of mind when buying pre-owned eBikes: Certified by Bosch creates trust in ...

Stuttgart/Reutlingen – Pre-owned or refurbished eBikes are becoming an increasingly attractive option for many people. 1 However, potential buyers are often unsure about the condition of pre-owned models and therefore want more transparency for peace of mind when making a purchase decision. With Certified by Bosch, Bosch eBike Systems is the first manufacturer of eBike drive systems to create a digital certification for the pre-owned market. The certificate digitally displays the condition of the battery and drive unit of the smart system, shows important information about the model and confirms that the eBike has not been reported as stolen in the eBike Flow app. From July 2026, refurbishment specialist Rebike will be the first partner to certify all eBikes with a Bosch system and issue them with the Certified by Bosch certificate. From the beginning of 2027, Bosch will also use the certificate to support specialist bicycle retailers in the sale of pre-owned models.“Our products are designed to a high quality and for a long service life, making them ideally suited for a second life in the pre-owned market. This market is important: it makes eBikes accessible to more people and contributes to sustainable mobility. With Certified by Bosch, together with Rebike as our first refurbishment partner, we are establishing a transparent and professional offering that provides buyers and sellers alike with a high level of trust,” says Claus Fleischer, CEO of Bosch eBike Systems. Certified by Bosch: clarity about battery, drive unit and system condition Anyone buying a pre-owned eBike is faced with a challenge: it is difficult to realiably assess the condition of the battery and drive unit from the outside or compared with other offerings. At the same time, these components significantly determine the value and thus the purchase price. This is precisely where Certified by Bosch provides clarity: the digital certificate for the smart system records the condition of the battery and drive unit at the time of certification and displays it in an intuitive star-based rating display, with a higher number of stars reflecting a better condition. 2 For the battery, information such as the number of charge cycles and the remaining capacity in percent can be displayed. For the drive unit, values such as the distance already travelled and the power used so far are included in the rating. The certificate also shows important model information such as brand, model year and frame number and confirms that the eBike has not been reported as stolen in the eBike Flow app and that there are no indications of tuning. By comparing the serial numbers of the battery and drive unit with the serial numbers displayed in Certified by Bosch, it is possible to ensure that the certificate actually belongs to the eBike being sold. To better protect eBikers against fraud, authenticity can also be easily checked using a QR code. Widespread availability: Rebike to become the first partner from July 2026 Rebike is the first partner to rely on Certified by Bosch: refurbished eBikes with the Bosch certificate will initially be available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and the Netherlands from July 2026. The certified models will be available in the Rebike online shop, in the company's own stores, on partner marketplaces and in selected shop-in-shop areas at Decathlon. Belgium, Spain, Italy and other European markets are also set to follow. “Our customers appreciate the security we offer as a professional provider when buying a refurbished eBike. In addition to our own services, such as our TÜV-certified Premium Refurbishment Programme and the two-year Rebike warranty on the motor and battery, with Certified by Bosch we are creating even more transparency about the condition of our models with the Bosch system. Together, we are strengthening confidence in refurbished eBikes and making the pre-owned market as a whole even more attractive,” says Sven Erger, COO and co-founder of Rebike. From 2027, Bosch eBike Systems will also be using the Bosch certificate to support specialist dealers in Europe with their pre-owned eBike sales. Digitally certified eBikes will be available at more contact points and the transparent second-hand market will continue to grow. Buying pre-owned eBikes: an environmentally conscious choice Buying a pre-owned eBike with a Bosch system is a conscious decision for the environment. Compared to the new production of a similar model, CO₂ and CO₂ equivalents savings of up to 208 kg can be achieved. 3 This corresponds to around 80% of the emissions of a new eBike. The reason: no new materials are required and no new components are manufactured. 3 Buying second-hand conserves valuable resources and saves money. With Bosch Live Data Interface, eBike riders can personalize their riding experience even more: It allows riders to connect their own GPS bike computers, or in the future, fitness watches, smart glasses and helmets to the eBike. With this new functionality, eBikes equipped with the Bosch smart system can connect directly with select Garmin Edge cycling computers to bring ride data together in real time. Bosch collaborates with Garmin as the first company to integrate this functionality, and the Live Data Interface presents an opportunity for further integrations with third-party products and apps. Ambitious eBikers ride with a highly personalized setup. The eBike should adapt seamlessly to their preferences. That is why we are making our system accessible to third-party companies. We are taking the first step with Garmin and are excited to provide riders with relevant live data from their eBike directly on their Edge cycling computer....Claus Fleischer, CEO of Bosch eBike Systems Live Data Interface: more options for displaying ride data Until now, eBike riders had two ways to display live ride data from the smart system: through Bosch displays or a using a smartphone with the Bosch eBike Flow app. With Live Data Interface, the smart system now makes live ride data available for third-party devices and apps via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Whether on a trail, completing a trekking tour, or on their daily ride through the city, eBike riders can now show their ride data on compatible third-party devices. Available information includes performance-related values like speed, total distance, and cadence, as well as important system data like battery charge level percentage, remaining range, and the status of the theft protection feature eBike Lock. This makes the eBike an even bigger part of each rider’s personal digital ecosystem. Next Level Training: Bosch smart system eBikes and Garmin Edge cycling computers Riders will be able to connect compatible Garmin Edge cycling computers* to the Bosch smart system, bringing all their ride data together on the Edge display. At launch, this includes the Garmin Edge 550/850/1050 and Edge 540/840/1040 – advanced GPS bike computers loaded with performance features – and the rugged Garmin Edge MTB, purposefully built for mountain bikers and those long days on the trail. The integration is available now in the Garmin Public Beta program. “We are excited to be the first brand to collaborate with Bosch on their innovative Live Data integration. Stuttgart/Reutlingen – Master even the steepest ascents with ease, ride technical uphills with full control, and overcome challenging trail sections: From May 2026, Bosch eBike Systems is offering ambitious riders the free performance upgrade 2.0 for the Performance Line CX and Performance Line CX-R, which consistently expands the dynamic ecosystem. The eBike Flow app can be used to increase the maximum torque and maximum support – the intelligent riding software recognizes technically challenging situations and automatically delivers full power precisely when it is needed. Together with the customizable Extended Boost, the Drivetrain Tensioner, the new Trick Check feature, and the 12A Charger, which will be available from the end of 2026, the result is an enhanced overall package for performance riders. eMTB riding means constantly challenging yourself on the trail – and mastering new situations. This requires not only more power, but also intelligent power delivery at crucial moments. This is exactly what drives us in the further development of our dynamic ecosystem. We want every update to feel noticeably better on the trail – not just on the data sheet....Claus Fleischer, CEO of Bosch eBike Systems Performance upgrade 2.0: situation-specific peak power for key technical sections With the performance upgrade 2.0, the smart system from Bosch provides even more torque and support for powerful riding on steep trails, when negotiating high steps, or when cranking through tight curves. Using the eBike Flow app, performance riders can increase the torque of the Performance Line CX and the Performance Line CX-R to up to 120 Nm in any riding mode, with the maximum setting value being defined by the respective bicycle manufacturer. Starting from the basic setting of 85 Nm, there is a wide adjustment range for personalized tuning. In addition, the maximum support can be increased: Up to a speed of 20 mph, up to 600% support is now provided in certain riding situations. 1 What this means on the trail: The long section of exposed roots, the challenging exit from the hairpin curves, the sudden steep section after crossing a stream – it is precisely in these key areas that the intelligent riding software delivers full power – tailored to the specific situation and precisely regulated. This requires dynamic rider power on the pedals: For riders who provide more input in the short term, the system delivers the decisive power boost and rewards them with a new sense of achievement. Immediately afterward, the system adjusts back to an efficient level. This intelligent, short-term power peak reduces material wear, particularly on the chain, cassette, and freewheel, and maximizes the range. Riders decide for themselves whether and to what extent they want to use this short-term peak support via the eBike Flow app – for a natural riding experience with full control. The performance upgrade 2.0 will be available from May 4, 2026 as a free over-the-air update. Adjustable Extended Boost: more control and more personalization Extended Boost gives eMTB riders the decisive boost they need to overcome obstacles such as roots, steps, or rocks with ease – even if a full pedal stroke is not possible. The system delivers an intuitive, residual boost of up to 2.2 yards. From mid-2026, a new slider in the Bosch eBike Flow app will make it possible to set the length of the overrun for each riding mode. Some modes, such as eMTB, eMTB+, or Race, already have a predefined boost length by default that matches the characteristic of the respective mode. The system reacts intelligently to the current situation on the trail: shorter and smoother for low drops, longer and more dynamic for high, angular steps. The final amount of overrun is determined by the interplay between app setting, riding mode, and pedal pressure. The result: smooth riding on the trail and full control when negotiating technical sections – making pedal jams a thing of the past. This allows performance riders to customize their setup according to their own preferences – for a precisely tuned riding experience. Drivetrain Tensioner for maximum control For an even more direct response and maximum control in technical riding situations, Bosch eBike Systems is introducing the Drivetrain Tensioner for the Performance Line CX and Performance Line CX-R. A software optimization closes the freewheel between the motor and rear wheel. This reduces the free travel on the pedal to a minimum and eliminates the usual delay when pedaling. The result is almost instantaneous traction with an even quieter freewheel, with the rider's input converted directly into precise propulsion. This direct power transmission enables superior control and noticeably more agile riding behavior, particularly on demanding sections, such as when starting off on a step or accelerating out of tight curves. Especially in combination with the performance upgrade 2.0, the Drivetrain Tensioner can protect the freewheel and thus ensure a longer service life and lower repair costs. In addition, the last trick is shown on the display for eight seconds – a moment that visualizes the rider's personal achievements and motivates them in a fun way. Once the ride is over, the eBike Flow app shows all personal best performances at a glance. At the heart of Release 1.34 is the "Trick Check" function, which eBikers can use to measure and analyse their performance on the trail. Stuttgart/Reutlingen – Exciting trails and challenges for every riding level: The Bosch eMTB Challenge has become a fixed highlight in the mountain bike community's calendar, thanks to its many stops. In 2026, the series enters its ninth season – and it's set to be even bigger and more international. With two new destinations, Les Arcs and Davos, Bosch eBike Systems is taking this popular series to the next level. Spectators and athletes can look forward to a real highlight at the Willingen stop: The German E-Enduro Championship will be held there as part of the eMTB Challenge.New in the event calendar: Two destinations in the Alps From Lake Garda, across the Alps, to British Columbia – no other eMountain bike competition series has lasted this long or visited as many international locations as the Bosch eMTB Challenge. This year, the race calendar features six stops in five countries – a new record. Two Alpine destinations complete the 2026 calendar: On 13 June, the series visits Les Arcs, and on 27 June, it heads to Davos for the very first time. The established stops in Riva (1 May), Willingen (30 May), Whistler (31 July) and Verbier (15 August) are returning as well. For more details, check out the Bosch eBike Systems website. Fun and competition for every riding level Like in previous years, the Bosch eMTB Challenge is aimed at riders of all skill levels. In the "Amateur" and "Advanced" categories, the main focus is on having fun and connecting with the community. All stages are ridden against the clock without prior training, and you'll need not just riding skills, but also a good sense of direction, stamina and clever battery management. For the transfer sections, successful navigation is key – as usual, you can use a GPX file on your smartphone, a compatible eBike display or a bike computer. In total, participants can look forward to about 35 kilometers and 1,000 meters of elevation gain at each event. The "Pro" category, introduced last year, is specially designed for professional athletes from eMTB racing and particularly ambitious riders. While amateur riders complete five stages and advanced riders take on six, Pro category participants will tackle an average of seven stages – including two that are especially technical. Season highlight: German E-Enduro Championship in Willingen A real highlight of the 2026 season: At the BIKE Festival Willingen on May 30, the Bosch eMTB Challenge will also host the first official German E-Enduro Championship. All Pro category participants with German citizenship and a valid UCI license are automatically entered. The race results will count for all participating pros toward the overall ranking of the Bosch eMTB Challenge, and for licensed riders with German citizenship, they'll also serve as the result for the German Championship. To boost competitive eMountain biking even further, the top three riders in the Pro category at each event will win prize money of 500 euros for first place, 250 euros for second, and 125 euros for third (with the same prize money available for the German Championship in Willingen). The result is more reliable sharing services, transparent leasing conditions and comprehensible insurance rates. Fleet operators receive real-time information on the location, state of charge and use of each individual eBike. In the event of theft, the eBike can be located and the motor support disabled. Partners such as Papin and Tilia already have these options: for example, they can plan and control use, service and charging processes centrally. This enables proactive maintenance, reduces downtime and simplifies operation across many wheels. The fleet therefore remains reliably available. CES 2026: Bosch eBike Systems extends its digital theft protection for eBikes

Your eBike has been stolen. What remains is a mix of anger, frustration, and a financial loss. For thieves, however, this is a profitable business, depending on their ability to resell eBikes undetected. This is precisely where Bosch eBike Systems steps in. At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, it is presenting a solution that adds another layer of digital theft protection to its smart system. In the future, stolen eBikes and batteries can be marked as stolen in the eBike Flow app. This feature is available free of charge in the eBike Flow app from the end of January 2026.If an eBike or a battery is marked as stolen, it can be identified as such throughout the entire digital ecosystem of Bosch eBike Systems. This makes reselling the eBike difficult and increases the chances of the owner getting the eBike back. Buyers of used eBikes, dealers and public authorities are sent a warning when they attempt to connect to the eBike via the eBike Flow app. This includes the serial numbers of the components that are marked as stolen. In addition, the connection with the eBike Flow app is permanently blocked. It is no longer possible for the eBike to receive over-the-air updates or for custom riding modes to be selected. Dealers also receive a warning in the DiagnosticTool, the diagnostic software from Bosch eBike Systems, when they connect the eBike for servicing. Centralized storage, system-wide impact This is made possible by the digital allocation principle used by the smart system. All the components of an eBike – the motor, the battery, and the display – have a unique registration in the system and are linked to a specific user profile. If the user marks their eBike or battery as stolen, this information is stored centrally and can be accessed from anywhere in the digital ecosystem of Bosch eBike Systems. The eBike Flow app, the DiagnosticTool, and Bosch eBike Support all use the same data. The digital marking can only be removed via the registered user profile. This function is a valuable addition to the theft protection portfolio of Bosch eBike Systems. The first theft protection functions were introduced in 2018 and the portfolio, which includes eBike Lock , eBike Alarm , and Battery Lock , now offers an additional layer of protection. This makes stealing eBikes an even less attractive proposition and represents a further step toward the Bosch mission of preventing all thefts of eBikes with the help of its smart system. Extended control functions for commercial users In addition to its theft protection solutions for private use, Bosch eBike Systems is also expanding its range for commercial users. This is because eBike sharing providers, rental firms, and company fleets need active control options, for example if eBikes are not returned. The Bosch ConnectModule from Bosch eBike Systems allows motor support to be deactivated remotely. Commercial users also have direct access to operating data via a cloud interface, including battery level, range forecast, service intervals, maintenance requirements, GPS position (if tracking is activated), and usage statistics. Highlight: The Cargo Line and Performance Line Speed have received higher performance values (torque, power and support factor), which eBikers can adjust according to their needs in the eBike Flow app. With even more support, the new systems are quieter and lighter than ever before, yet reliable and efficient in the familiar Bosch quality. The Performance Line SX from the smart system is also even more powerful. The new product package is complemented by the new PowerTube 540 battery and other features in the eBike Flow app.Maximum support for Cargo eBikes: the new Cargo Line Bringing the kids to nursery in the morning, quickly taking parcels to the post office and then doing the weekly shop - with the new Cargo Line even heavy loads can be easily transported during daily life. This popular drive unit now delivers even more power: with up to 100 Newton metres of torque (previously up to 85) and 750 watts of maximum power (previously 600), eBikers can transport their children or shopping, even up steep climbs, with greater ease. The sensitive response to the rider’s pedal input enables greater control and an even more intuitive riding experience. Get there faster – with the new Performance Line Speed Anyone travelling long distances by eBike every day will find a reliable partner in the new Performance Line Speed . With maximum support of up to 400 percent up to 45 km/h, 100 Newton metres of torque and 750 watts of maximum power, the drive unit for S-pedelecs is the ideal system for commuters who want to ride at higher speeds and get there faster. As with the Cargo Line, the performance parameters can now be adjusted via the eBike Flow app. 2 The advantages: eBikers can accelerate faster at traffic lights, for example, and receive maximum support on steep climbs. Thanks to the improved software, the Performance Line Speed now responds even more precisely to pedal input. eBikers also benefit from the significantly reduced pedal resistance, meaning that they have greater rider power and reach their destination quickly and efficiently. The Performance Line Speed is also approximately 100 grams lighter than its predecessor and impresses with its quiet riding noise. It offers great reliability thanks to its sturdy design – even when subjected to heavy use. The housing is robust as well as dust and splash water protected thanks to the sealing concept employed. Weighing only 2.8 kilograms, the new drive unit is approximately 400 grams lighter than its predecessor. It supports eBikers with an powerful and even boost when starting off and ensures a particularly comfortable and natural riding experience. More powerful Performance Line SX The Performance Line SX has new maximum values: 60 Newton metres of torque (previously 55), 600 watts of power and 400 percent support (previously 340). Here, eBikers can decide for themselves whether they want to retain the default values or if they prefer to customise them to meet their individual needs in the eBike Flow app. The performance upgrade will be available to riders of the Performance Line SX via an update in the eBike Flow app in autumn 2025. 4 The eMTB+ mode, introduced in spring 2025, will also be available for Performance Line SX as a free update. It provides more support than the existing eMTB mode and offers maximum dynamics and control. More range for every day: the new PowerTube 540 The new PowerTube 540 battery is available now. Compared to the PowerTube 500 battery, the new battery now offers 540 watt hours of energy at the same weight – more range for daily commutes in the city or a relaxed weekend tour. The integrated battery meets high safety standards and can be combined with the PowerMore 250 range extender if required, providing almost 800 watt hours. New eBike Flow app features: share eBikes and "Battery Lock" Bosch eBike Systems adds two more functions to the smart system. The use of an eBike by several people is now even easier: In future, eBikers can invite up to five friends or family members to use their eBike via the eBike Flow app. Each invited user can create and save a personal profile on their own smartphone. To use the new function, only the person making the invitation needs a Flow+ subscription. Another new feature, the “Battery Lock” function, will be available from summer 2025. This additional digital theft protection for the battery ensures that the eBike battery can no longer be used if it is stolen – and is therefore worthless to thieves. As soon as the function is active, the battery locks automatically when the eBike is switched off. If a locked battery is stolen and inserted into another eBike with a smart system, it automatically disables the motor support. With the Performance Line PX , Bosch eBike Systems is launching a premium system that has been specially developed for demanding bike rides, weekend trips and extended bike-packing rides. Whether on multi-day adventures with heavy luggage or on spontaneous discovery tours in nature: we have developed the Performance Line PX specifically for the needs of trekking riders. It was important to us that they receive powerful yet finely tuned support that adapts intuitively to their riding situation. With the robust and versatile system, eBikers can say goodbye to everyday life and discover new paths....Claus Fleischer, CEO at Bosch eBike Systems Feel the power – and adjust it to suit you With up to 90 Newton metres of torque, 700 watts of power and assistance of up to 400 percent, the Performance Line PX weighs approximately 2.9 kilograms and promises a powerful yet balanced riding experience. 1 The smart sensor technology responds precisely to pedal input and provides natural support for eTrekking riders on their tours. It also recognises start-up situations and gives them a powerful boost when required. Smart functions such as the familiar walk assistance or hill start assist make handling easier when starting uphill or on steeper terrain – an absolute bonus, especially when touring with heavy luggage. Another positive point: eBikers can customise the performance values of the Performance Line PX to their personal requirements in the eBike Flow app . 1 Higher performance values also mean higher wear and lower range – Bosch eBike Systems leaves this decision up to eBikers. For example, the maximum torque can be increased on tours with many inclines and heavy luggage. If you are riding on long flat stages, you can reduce the motor support and thus optimise your range. Naturally quiet – and comfortable Enjoy nature while the Performance Line PX lets eBikers explore new surroundings – thanks to the optimised gearbox concept, this is possible: the drive unit provides particularly quiet support and remains smooth even when cruising. As usual, eBikers receive support up to 25 km/h, above which the gearbox decouples the motor and the eBike can be pedalled with hardly any noticeable resistance. With Auto mode, adventurous riders can simply keep pedalling, even on ascents and into headwinds, as the riding mode automatically provides optimum support. This means you don't have to switch between riding modes and can simply enjoy the ride. Don't waste any thought on the gear shifting operation If you want even more comfort on your trekking ride, you should not miss out on the eShift electric gear shifting solution. With the automatic solution, the eBike with the Performance Line PX automatically shifts to the appropriate gear – according to the individually selected cadence. This allows eBikers to ride more evenly and focus fully on the route. A positive side effect: material wear on the system is also reduced. eShift with automatic shifting is already available with the shifting systems from enviolo and TRP. New: eShift is now also available with shifting systems from Shimano. Smart tour helpers: 3D map display, annual overview of ride data and optimised eBike ABS For an even better overview, the ride screen in the eBike Flow app now offers eBikers a 3D map display of the terrain and visualises the elevation graph of the immediate surroundings. This way, adventurous travellers always know what to expect on the next leg of their journey. Also new: In the statistics, eBikers can see an annual overview of the number of all rides, the distance travelled, the trip time and the elevation. These valuable statistics apply to all eBikes registered in the eBike Flow app. The two new functions require a Flow+ subscription. If you are travelling downhill with fully loaded panniers or the route leads over slippery gravel or wet forest paths, the Bosch eBike ABS in ABS Allroad mode is your reliable partner. Precise sensors in the Performance Line PX measure the inclination and speed of the eBike very accurately and ensure optimum brake support. This allows eBikers to brake more safely in the event of sudden obstacles and enjoy a smoother ride overall. The Performance Line PX is available in conjunction with Bosch eBike ABS with brakes from Magura, TRP and Shimano. Enjoy nature responsibly The Performance Line PX lets you experience maximum support on adventure tours, while also enjoying nature at the same time. To achieve this, Bosch eBike Systems has taken various measures to reduce its Product Carbon Footprint 2 . Firstly, around 40 percent recycled aluminum is used in the housing of the drive unit. This has enabled almost half of the CO₂ emissions from the housing to be cut 3 . We have considered the effects of CO₂ as well as other greenhouse gases and climate-relevant substances, insofar as these are relevant to the analysis. For ease of reading, we use CO₂ synonymously with CO₂ equivalents. 3 Savings compared to the use of conventional aluminium. These savings are partially attributable to the use of green electricity in the production of recycled aluminium. The calculation is based on supplier data. 4 The grease guide plate, torque sensor housing and wire feeder are among the largest plastic parts in the drive unit. The grease guide plate and torque sensor housing are manufactured using more than 50% recycled material, while the wire feeder has a recycled content of approx. 35% (source: supplier data).
