As early as 2021, Bosch successfully introduced its new top performance class, Expert, in the accessories segment and currently offers over 2,200 Expert accessories for the highest demands in its range. Bosch is now building on this success story and is introducing the top performance class Expert in the areas of power tools and measuring technology as well.

Top Performance Class Expert for Power Tools and Measuring Technology

Professional users constantly need to choose the perfect tool from a multitude of high-quality options for their demanding daily applications. Bosch helps to make this decision easier: Expert delivers the best solutions for the respective applications, thus providing professionals with power tools and measuring technology for the highest demands. Expert stands for more than just power and performance – with innovative features and state-of-the-art technology, the tools help to reduce risks of injury and ensure comfortable working and best results.

Batteries and Chargers Set New Standards

Bosch has become the world’s first manufacturer to bring the benefits of tabless technology in battery cells to 18V batteries for cordless power tools . With the introduction of the new Expert batteries and chargers, Bosch is expanding its pioneering role and continues to ensure that batteries and chargers are compatible with all devices of the Professional 18V System and the multi-brand AmpShare battery alliance.

The new Expert batteries and chargers are available now. The EXBA18V-40 and EXBA18V-55 batteries achieve maximum power outputs of up to 2,000 watts¹. Compared to existing batteries in the Bosch range, such as the GBA 18V 4.0Ah Professional, the temporary maximum power has been doubled. The EXBA18V-80 and EXBA18V-150 models even deliver up to 2,400 watts of temporary maximum power. This raises the performance level to the next stage and thus lays the foundation for the exceptional performance of the new Expert devices.

Expert Tools: The Best for the Job

From January 2026, the first 30 Expert power tools and measuring devices will be available. A highlight is the world's first gasless cordless stapler, the EXPERT EXTH18V-50M, which offers the full power of a pneumatic tool – without the effort and cost associated with compressors, hoses, and gas cartridges. Another highlight is the EXPERT EXSA18V-32 reciprocating saw, which is not only powerful but also the first reciprocating saw to feature KickBack Control that immediately stops the tool if the saw blade jams, not only minimizing the risk of injury but also preventing the bending or even breaking of saw blades. In the field of measuring technology, Bosch presents the innovative wall scanner EXPERT D-tect18V-200-17C. This supports professional users in precisely locating objects in many different wall types. For the first time, innovative Bosch radar technology is used in combination with AI object detection.

Expert Offers Optimal User Orientation

Deciding on the right power tool from a multitude of offerings can be a challenge even for experienced professionals. To make the selection easier for professional users, Bosch also clearly highlights the outstanding added performance of the Expert products with a visually noticeable distinction. At the same time, precise user guidance quickly makes it clear which Expert device is the best solution for the respective application, thus enabling the user to make a quick and well-informed purchasing decision.

Expert in Selective Distribution for the Best Shopping Experience

Expert batteries and chargers form the basis of the Bosch Professional 18V System and are therefore available through all common sales channels, just like the Expert accessory range. For Expert power tools and measuring devices, however, Bosch deliberately relies on selective distribution through qualified dealers. With this strategic decision, the company offers professional users a shopping experience tailored to their needs – and the right solution for every task – no matter how demanding it might be.
