Bosch is expanding its top performance class Expert with the most powerful cordless reciprocating saw EXPERT EXSA18V-32. With its brushless highperformance Biturbo motor, which makes ideal use of the extreme power of the Expert batteries, it delivers the power of a corded 1,300-watt tool and effortlessly cuts metal, wood, hollow bricks, plastic, wood composites and insulation materials. The reciprocating saw is part of Bosch’s top performance class Expert , which includes tools and accessories for all applications. The Expert line provides demanding professionals with tools for the highest requirements. The EXPERT EXSA18V-32 is also part of the “Professional 18V System” from Bosch, which covers all relevant applications with 18 volts and even goes beyond the Bosch range thanks to multiple partners in the multi-brand AmpShare Alliance: All tools – from the compact screwdriver to the miter saw – can be operated using the same 18V lithium-ion battery and only one charger. This saves tradespeople time, space, and money.

Outstanding performance thanks to powerful Biturbo motor

The powerful brushless Biturbo motor offers up to 3,000 strokes per minute at a stroke length of 32 millimeters in the highest of the six speed levels. The drivetrain utilizes the extreme power provided by the new Expert batteries. Bosch recommends an EXBA18V-55 battery with a capacity of 5.5 Ah or higher.

With these batteries and suitable saw blades – such as the Bosch Expert Thick Tough Metal blades with Bosch Carbide Technology from the accessories range – this reciprocating saw can tackle even the most challenging materials such as oil tanks, steel profiles, heavy cast iron pipes, and construction timber with nails. The pendulum action function can be activated for efficient work in materials such as wood and plasterboard.

KickBack Control prevents saw blades from bending

If a reciprocating saw gets stuck when cutting metal pipes and I-beams, oil tanks, or wooden beams, for example, this can lead to painful kickbacks and injuries. The integrated Kickback Control stops the EXPERT EXSA18V-32 immediately as soon as the blade starts canting. This minimizes the risk of injury and at the same time prevents saw blades from bending or even breaking. The integrated Stop Control also ensures that the saw blade stops immediately as soon as it emerges from the material, such as a wooden beam. Both functions can be switched on and off individually at any time via the integrated control panel. The integrated Vibration Control minimizes strong hand-arm and wholebody vibrations and therefore also minimizes the risk of premature fatigue or long-term damage. Active protection is provided by a counterweight that constantly counteracts the inertial forces. The rubber cushioning element in the handle provides additional passive protection – lower vibration levels allow longer working time.

Precise, ergonomic working

The Adaptive Speed Control function ensures that the saw blade starts up slowly when cutting and then ramps up to the desired stroke rate. When cutting hard materials such as metal pipes, this prevents damage that would otherwise be caused by uncontrolled movements of the saw blade on the material surface. This function can also be switched on and off via the control panel. It is a quick and easy task to change the saw blade and doesn’t require any additional tools thanks to the large thumb wing screw, even when wearing work gloves. The ergonomic handle allows you to work comfortably in different positions. The 180-degree LED ensures optimum illumination of the work area.

The EXPERT EXSA18V-32 cordless reciprocating saw will be available starting in January 2026. It comes in a high-quality L-Boxx, which allows the saw to be stowed away with the base plate fitted and provides space for batteries, a charger, and the most important accessories. All prices are recommended retail prices and do not include VAT.
