Bosch is expanding its top performance class Expert with the new cordless random orbit sander EXPERT EXEX18V-150-5, which has been developed for outstanding removal rates and the highest surface quality. The random orbit sander is part of Bosch’s top performance class Expert which provides demanding professionals with power tools, measuring technology and accessories for the highest requirements. The EXPERT EXEX18V-150-5 is also part of the “Professional 18V System” from Bosch, which covers all relevant applications with 18 volts and even goes beyond the Bosch range thanks to multiple partners in the multi-brand AmpShare alliance: All tools – from the compact screwdriver to the miter saw – can be operated using the same 18V lithium-ion battery and only one charger. This saves time, space, and money.

Cordless random orbit sander with high eccentricity

The EXPERT EXEX18V-150-5 is part of Bosch’s top performance class Expert, delivering up to 50% more material removal than the GEX 18V-150-3 Professional1 and thus enables professionals to achieve significantly faster work progress and an additional boost in efficiency. The core of this performance is the eccentricity of 5 mm in combination with a 150 mm sanding disc and constant power output under load. This makes the EXPERT EXEX18V-150-5 the ideal tool for all demanding sanding work, resulting in a high surface quality.

Ergonomic design meets first-class dust control

The ergonomic design of the random orbit sander enables comfortable one-handed or two-handed use. This option to change position is particularly advantageous for longer work tasks. The balanced and slimline design with the handle close to the workpiece ensures optimum control in all working positions, which simultaneously increases precision and reduces possible signs of fatigue. The multi-hole sanding disc with innovative Venturi air ducts, an efficient dust box with HEPA filter, and integrated adapter for the Click & Clean interface ensures first-class dust control. This reduces the dangers of dust for the user, protects the workpiece from scratches caused by dust particles, and extends the service life of the sanding sheet. The EXPERT EXEX18V-150-5 is very easy and intuitive to use thanks to its user-friendly control panel. It offers a 5-stage speed setting that enables precise adjustment to the respective material and application. A clear 5-LED display also shows the current battery charge status at all times, so that the user is always informed about the remaining runtime and interruptions to work can be minimized. The EXPERT EXEX18V-150-5 is ideal for sanding wood, paint and varnish, as well as for intermediate and fine sanding of surfaces.

The EXPERT EXEX18V-150-5 is available in January 2026. All prices are recommended retail prices and do not include VAT.
