Stuttgart / Leinfelden – Bosch is expanding its range of measuring tools and presents a new generation of 18V rotary lasers with the PRO GRL18V-3-31G and PRO GRL18V-4-34CVG. Both tools set new standards, are designed for tough everyday use on construction sites and were developed in close collaboration with users to meet their demanding needs. Thanks to innovative technology and robust design, both tools offer maximum precision, simple and innovative operation, and high reliability. They are perfectly tailored to the needs of tradespeople and professionals who do not want to compromise. Both rotary lasers are part of Bosch's Professional 18V System, which covers all relevant applications with 18V and, thanks to the multi-brand AmpShare alliance, even extends beyond Bosch's offerings. Many brands, many tools, one battery system: All tools can run on the same 18V lithium-ion battery and charger, thus saving tradespeople time, space, and money.

PRO GRL18V-3-31G: Simple Operation and Maximum Robustness

The PRO GRL18V-3-31G is the new rotary laser for users who value uncomplicated handling and reliability. With its intuitive one-button keypad, it enables an easy and quick setup, thereby saving valuable working time. The laser has been designed for durability and resilience. Protective handles and a reinforced top cap reliably protect the precision instrument in case of impacts and mechanical influences. This not only ensures a long service life under the toughest conditions but also impressive shock resistance from a 1.5m tripod tip over.

Its IP66 certification ensures complete dust and powerful jet water protection. Since the battery is securely integrated into the housing, the power supply is also optimally protected. Another highlight is the Dual-Power-Source function: The PRO GRL18V-3-31G can be operated either with an 18V lithium-ion battery or with four C-alkaline batteries via the BA 18-C adapter. This ensures flexibility and uninterrupted work, even when no charged battery is at hand.

The tool impresses with its outstanding accuracy of ± 1.5mm at 30m, delivering precise results for demanding applications. Its extended self-leveling range of ± 15% maximizes efficiency on the job site by allowing quick and easy setup of the tool even on very uneven terrain – a real-time saver that optimizes workflow. Ideal for earthworks, concrete foundations, and landscaping, where reliable and accurate leveling is essential. For precise laser detection, the PRO GRL18V-3-31G is compatible with the new LR3-2 laser receiver.

PRO GRL18V-4-34CVG: Intuitive Slope Adjustment and Full Connectivity

The PRO GRL18V-4-34CVG sets standards in terms of efficiency and flexibility for demanding leveling tasks. Its intuitive slope adjustment allows for precise slope setting of up to ± 15%, which is supported by a patented LED indication and saves time during setup. The control panel with bi-color segment LEDs offers a clear view of the device status even from a distance.

Like its counterpart, the PRO GRL18V-4-34CVG is also built for tough everyday job site use: Protective handles, a reinforced top cap for increased impact resistance, and IP66 certification stands for durability and uninterrupted work under the most difficult conditions. A 1.5m tripod tip over rating is also provided.

Like the PRO GRL18V-3-31G, the tool features a green laser diode that provides optimal visibility of the laser beam for interior applications. The Dual-Power-Source function allows operation with 18V lithium-ion batteries or with four C-alkaline batteries via the BA 18-C adapter, ensuring continuous workflow. A special feature of the PRO GRL18V-4-34CVG is full control via the "Levelling Remote App." This allows for faster slope adjustment and access to additional functions such as sweep angle selection, speed, and sleep mode via an illustrated interface. This gives users full control over their measuring tool even from a distance.

This rotary laser is suited for single-axis slope applications, such as when creating ramps with an incline of up to 15%. Even for indoor work on larger construction sites, such as the installation of suspended ceilings or the construction of partition walls, the PRO GRL18V-4-34CVG offers the necessary versatility and precision. For precise laser detection, the PRO GRL18V-4-34CVG is compatible with the LR 45 laser receiver.

Matching Accessories for Even More Efficiency and Precision

To optimally complement the performance of the new rotary lasers, Bosch offers an extensive range of accessories: The LR3-2 and LR 45 laser receivers ensure reliable laser detection. The WM5 wall mount made of steel enables precise height adjustments of ± 45mm. The BB1 aluminum batter board holder securely fixes GRL lasers to objects from 15-80mm.
