New in Bosch's top performance class Expert: Top tools for wood applications for professionals

Bosch is expanding its top performance class Expert with further powerful cordless tools for demanding woodworking applications: the superior multi-cutter EXPERT EXOP18V-40 and the precise jigsaw EXPERT EXST18V-155S (with barrel handle), or EXPERT EXST18V-155B (with top handle). These new cordless power tools belong to Bosch's top performance class Expert, which includes tools and accessories for all areas of application. Expert provides professionals with tools for maximum demands. These tools are also part of Bosch's Professional 18V System, which covers all major 18-volt applications and even extends beyond Bosch's offerings thanks to the multi-brand AmpShare Alliance. Many brands, many tools, one battery system: This saves tradespeople time, space, and money.

Expert Multi-Cutter: Lowest Vibrations and Starlock Max

The oscillating 18V multi-cutter EXPERT EXOP18V-40 delivers superior work performance even for the toughest tasks. The tool is compatible with all Starlock accessories – including Starlock Max. Its powerful brushless motor generates power equivalent to 550 watts of corded performance, and in combination with an oscillation angle of 4.0 degrees, always enables rapid work progress. Performance, comfort, and efficiency are paramount with the EXPERT EXOP18V-40. Its innovative snap-in mechanism promises tool-free accessory changes in seconds. This is possible even with work gloves and always without the risk of losing a fastening screw. Additionally, integrated Vibration Control ensures effective reduction of harmful vibrations, while the Stop Control function automatically switches off the tool after cutting, thus reducing the risk of injury. The small grip circumference of 150 mm – 25% less than the GOP 18V 28 Professional – and the 90-degrees rotated battery position enable maximum working comfort and flush cuts without impairment. Furthermore, the tool offers a 6-stage speed control, Adaptive Speed Control for excellent precision, and an integrated LED light that perfectly illuminates every work area.

Expert Jigsaws: Full Control for the Most Demanding Cuts

The outstanding jigsaw EXPERT EXST18V-155S (with barrel handle), or EXPERT EXST18V-155B (with top handle), offers ultimate tool control even in the most demanding applications. The precise saw blade guide reliably prevents the blade from bending, even in tight curves, thus ensuring perfect precision with every cut. Both jigsaw variants were developed with a focus on ergonomic design: While the S-version with a barrel handle ensures optimal ergonomics and control, even when sawing overhead, thanks to its balanced design, a 360 degrees grip circumference, and ambidextrous switch, the version with a top handle impresses with an ideal grip surface at the top and a variable trigger switch for optimal tool guidance. In addition, Drop Control reduces the risk of injury by immediately switching off the tool if it falls, thus offering a high level of user protection. The integrated dust extraction device for dust adapters allows flexible positioning of the suction hose, ensuring a clean work environment.

The intuitive HMI allows for easy adjustment of the 6-stage speed selection and the LED light, while clearly displaying the tool and battery status. For additional user protection and comfort during saw blade changes, the EXPERT EXST18V-155S and the EXPERT EXST18V-155B feature a practical ejection lever. Both Expert jigsaws are ideal for round and cross-cuts in solid wood, chipboard, and wood composites, as well as in thicker or harder materials.
