Bosch is expanding its Professional 18V System with compact cordless pruning shears. The GGP18V-32 extends the range of professional garden tools, which includes lawn mowers, hedge cutters, leaf blowers, grass trimmers and chainsaws. The cordless pruning shears GGP18V-32 are part of Bosch's Professional 18V System also covers all other major 18-volt applications – and even goes beyond the Bosch range thanks to multiple partners in the multi-brand AmpShare Alliance: All tools – from the compact screwdriver to the miter saw – can be operated using the same 18V lithium-ion battery and only one charger. This saves tradespeople time, space, and money.

GGP 18V-32: Pruning Shears for Demanding Cutting Work

The new GGP18V-32 is specifically designed for professional users who regularly need to maintain trees and shrubs. With its maximum cutting capacity of 32 mm, it effortlessly handles even thicker branches and enables efficient work in gardens, parks and green spaces. A key feature of the GGP18V-32 is the two-cutting-width function. Using the trigger switch, professionals can switch between 20- and 32-mm cutting width. For thinner branches up to 20 mm, the smaller cutting width ensures faster cutting cycles and higher productivity. For thicker branches up to 32 mm, the maximum cutting capacity comes into play.

High-Quality DC53 Steel Blade for Long-Lasting Performance

The heart of the GGP18V-32 pruning shears is the high-quality DC53 steel blade. This special material combines exceptional hardness and long-lasting sharpness with high chrome content for superior corrosion resistance. The blade retains its sharpness even after intensive use over extended periods and delivers consistently clean, precise cuts. Professionals benefit from longer maintenance intervals and significantly extended service life.

Impressive Battery Runtime for All-Day Operation

The GGP 18V-32 impresses with exceptional battery performance. In combination with the recommended GBA 18V 4.0Ah Professional battery, it enables over 8,000 cuts in 15-mm branches per battery charge. The powerful brushless motor optimally utilizes the energy of the 18V battery.

Intelligent Functions for Greater Convenience

An integrated LED work light improves visibility in shaded work areas. The status LED always displays the current operating status. The intelligent standby mode ensures longer battery runtime: holding the trigger switch for two seconds puts the tool into standby mode. The safety on/off switch provides additional protection against unintentional activation. After 120 seconds of inactivity, the pruning shears automatically shut down.

The cordless pruning shears will be available from May 2026. The stated prices are recommended retail prices excluding VAT.
