When this function is activated, the camera calculates an optimized version with four times more measurement points from a frozen thermal image. Compared to conventional tools, the EXPERT EXTC18V-650-17C, thanks to the high sensor resolution and activated AI Image Boost, delivers up to eight times more measurement points than the PRO GTC18V-600-16C. This reliably reveals the finest structures and thermal details indoors and outdoors, which allows for even more concrete analyses and helps users interpret the thermal images.

Previously focused on cockpit vehicle computers, the companies’ collaboration will now also encompass advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Going forward, the product range will include both vehicle computers with basic ADAS functions – such as speed control, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping support – as well as advanced automated driving systems.

The supplier of technology and services increased its sales revenue by 3.6 percent to 46.4 billion euros (H1 2025: 44.8 billion euros). EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) from operations stood at 2.2 billion euros (H1 2025: 2.3 billion euros). The EBIT margin from operations was 4.6 percent of sales revenue, compared with 5.1 percent in the previous year. Result was primarily impacted by special effects in the Mobility business. While capital expenditure totaled 1.2 billion euros (H1 2025: 1.7 billion euros), R&D expenditure stood at 3.7 billion euros (H1 2025: 3.9 billion euros). At the end of the first half of 2026, the Bosch Group employed 406,225 people worldwide.
