Ludwigsburg – What grows needs space. That is why Robert Bosch Start-up GmbH is relocating to a new site that offers space and freedom in equal measure: associates will in future have 5,000 square meters of space at their disposal in the western district of Ludwigsburg. The Start-up Platform was established in 2013. Peter Guse, the platform’s leader, and his team began their successful trajectory on 900 square meters of floor space at the time. Today, they are helping seven start-ups turn their ideas into new business in markets in which Bosch doesn’t have a presence yet.

With roughly three million euros invested in the conversion and expansion, the new hall offers space for up to 250 associates. Aside from the Start-up Platform’s associates, nine innovation teams from Bosch divisions are located in Ludwigsburg. The new premises manifest how Bosch is creating freedom for creative work. Six work areas were individually designed by artists in close consultation with associates of the start-ups in order to ensure optimal conditions for creativity. After all: there can be no digital transformation without cultural change.
