Stuttgart – With the NEVONEX digital platform initiated by Bosch, farmers and contractors can now use the enormous potential of digital agriculture with ease. Under the premise "Digitalization fully under control with one installation," the NEVONEX platform and software were developed and the necessary hardware was launched on the market together with NEVONEX partners. The NEVONEX Box required for using the mentioned digital platform can now be installed on tractors and self-driving vehicles. With the box, farmers can use Digital Services in real time from any manufacturer to control the various implements and also automatically document the corresponding work data to be used in digital farm management systems, for instance. "The first Digital Services are now available, and with the MyNEVONEX portal and NEVONEX Cockpit app, the user interfaces are also online. We are delighted that this marks the official launch of the first open digitalization platform for agriculture on the market and unites Digital Services from different providers with full compatibility, no matter which manufacturer is involved," says Dr. Micha Muenzenmay, managing director and chief technology officer (CTO) of NEVONEX GmbH.

About NEVONEX
The benefit for operators is that NEVONEX powered by Bosch is an open, neutral ecosystem for smart, digital agriculture. The ecosystem approach makes new and already existing agricultural machinery on a farm become intelligent with the help of a NEVONEX-capable electronic control box – the NEVONEX Box. The bundled expertise can be used directly on the machine in the form of Digital Services. This makes the work processes of farmers and contractors simpler and more efficient overall. Thanks to the reliable, end-to-end implementation of Digital Services through all the work steps, farmers benefit from optimized operating processes, a reduced use of seeds, fertilizer, and crop protection materials while at the same time protecting the environment, and ultimately being able to achieve a higher operating yield.
The benefit for the agricultural industry is that NEVONEX offers players in the agricultural industry a robust, securely managed system (framework) and an end-to-end infrastructure as a standardized technical platform for digital applications on tractors, implements, and self-driving vehicles. With NEVONEX, industry partners such as agricultural machinery manufacturers and equipment suppliers, as well as providers of farm management or fleet management systems, are able to develop, apply, and market integrated Digital Services to improve agronomic processes quickly, easily, and directly.
