Abstatt – A cloud-based infrastructure is crucial for tackling complex challenges in the automotive sector. It provides the flexibility and scalability needed to efficiently manage massive data volumes from test and fleet vehicles, connect global teams, and accelerate innovations in increasingly shorter cycles. As an AWS Automotive Competency Partner, Bosch Engineering brings the AWS-validated expertise that helps its customers execute projects efficiently, reduce the efforts involved in integration and coordination, and achieve significant time savings.

Bosch Engineering provides end-to-end support throughout the entire product life cycle, from the initial concept to operational field service. "By combining the flexibility of the AWS cloud infrastructure with our cloud integration expertise, we develop new features and functions that make vehicles safer, boost their performance, and further enhance the overall user experience," explains Timo Blon, Bosch Engineering GmbH.

Application areas: from the racetrack to sports cars

Bosch Engineering uses the power and scalability of the AWS cloud infrastructure to support vehicle functions that require high availability, low data connection latencies, and flexible adaptation of computing and storage resources. One example is Bosch Mo-torsport’s platform RaceConnect, designed for race cars.

All stages for this solution – from concept development to the creation of specific func-tions such as telemetry, fleet management, and dashboards, all the way to operational deployment – have been successfully realized using the AWS Cloud.
