A high-performance cordless drill/driver that can master almost any task using different adapters – the FlexiClick from Bosch. The tried and tested 18 volt system now offers professionals even more comfort and flexibility for use in hard-to-reach places: The GSR 18V-60 FC Professional, at 140 millimeters in length, is seven millimeters shorter than its predecessor and has precision coupling. An electronic control function prevents the tool from overtightening when fastening screws. This causes less wear-and-tear to the material and coupling, resulting in a longer lifetime for the tool and accessories. In addition, the new FlexiClick screwdriver comes with KickBack Control: If the integrated sensor detects sud-den blockages during the work process, for example in the case of tilting the drill bit, the motor will switch off within a fraction of a second, minimizing the risk of injury caused by kickback.

Tradespeople, such as kitchen installers, cabinet builders, and interior designers can screw even tighter around corners with the GSR 18V-60 FC Professional and are provided with a more robust drill chuck: In addition to the existing off-set angle and rotary hammer adapters, the tool offers the even shorter GFA 18-W Professional angle screw adapter with HEX socket plus the solid metal drill chuck GFA 18-M Professional. The previous GFA 18-B Professional drill chuck adapter with a plastic drill chuck for gentler work is still available, as is the GFA 18-WB Professional angle screw adapter for round-shank drill bits. The tool also features a connectivity function: If the Bluetooth module is used, functions such as KickBack Control or precision coupling can be adjusted individually by app and thus adapt it to your own requirements.

The FlexiClick system in an overview

Possible applications range from classic screwdriving applications through to drilling in wood, metal, and even concrete ‒ using a tool and adapter which have very compact dimensions. The new GFA 18-M Professional drill chuck adapter takes drill bits of up to 13 millimeters and is even more robust thanks to its solid metal design. The new GFA 18-W Professional angle screw adapter screws even tighter around corners and the GFA 18-E Professional off-set angle adapter allows for precise screwdriving close to edges. They can each be set to 16 different positions. The system is completed by the GFA 18-H Professional rotary hammer adapter. It turns a cordless drill/driver into a powerful SDS-plus rotary hammer with impact energy of one joule. Bosch also offers the only system with which the adapters can remain on the tool when you are adjusting them.

Securely connected in only a few moves

Turn, click, ready to use: The four FlexiClick adapters are connected to the cordless drill/drivers using the method already familiar to keyless chuck users: Simply place the adapter onto the FlexiClick interface and turn it clockwise. Repeated clicking then indicates a secure connection between the two components – and the system is ready to use.

The new GSR 18V-60 FC Professional FlexiClick system will be available as of May 2018. All prices are recommended retail prices excluding VAT. Subject to change.
