The catenary assist rail assistance system from Bosch monitors the pantograph and thus prevents catenary accidents at the transition point from or to catenary operation. Train drivers are warned in the event of an incorrect position of the pantograph. The reduced risk of pantograph and catenary damage increases safety and minimizes both operational disruptions and repair costs.
