Bosch introduces to the market the Biturbo GSR and GSB 18V-150 C Professional 18V drill drivers as the world’s most powerful cordless drill driver and combi drill. Their brushless high-performance motor is perfectly coordinated with the electronics and battery, so that the high efficiency of the recommended ProCore18V batteries with 8.0 Ah can be used to their full potential. The Biturbo drill drivers therefore differ significantly from all previous models: With a maximum torque of 150 Nm and up to 2,200 revolutions a minute, both tools guarantee rapid work progress. In soft screwdriving applications their torque is 84 Nm, which is 15 percent higher than the best competitor model. With one charge of the supplied ProCore18V battery with 8.0 Ah, they can screw in up to 12 screws measuring 12 x 400 mm in soft wood. No other cordless drill driver can match this at present. The tools are therefore ideally suited for traditional wood frame construction and for roof and facade construction. In short: For all applications where large screwing and drilling diameters are required. In addition, the Biturbo drill drivers offer craftsmen value-added through the new user interface ‒ an interactive display on the tool ‒ as well as individual setting options through connectivity functions via smartphone. The focal point here is a world’s first: “Electronic Angle Detection (EAD)”, the first electronic angle detection system in an 18V drill driver on the market.
