Autonomous lawn care at the perfect time – “Predictive Mow” with Indego Connect by Bosch. The basis for this is a new extension for the “Bosch Smart Gardening” app: after you activate the new “Predictive Mow” function, the Indego Connect system calculates the best time to mow your lawn and controls the mowing cycle accordingly. This function uses a complex algorithm as well as information on ambient conditions, such as temperature and rainfall, to calculate when to mow your lawn. In addition to the previous manual control or scheduled mowing times in the calendar, “Predictive Mow” provides optimized autonomous lawn care. With “Predictive Mow”, the Indego Connect only mows your lawn when the conditions are suitable ? not too hot, not too wet, not too cold. You can also specify exclusion periods of your own, when you don't want the mower to mow. Or, if preferred, you can use the newly integrated “Weather forecast” within the app as a guide and decide for yourself when to send your mower out.

Lawncare at your fingertips and maximum efficiency thanks to "LogiCut"
With the “Bosch Smart Gardening” app, the Indego Connect can be operated easily, conveniently and from anywhere with a Smartphone or tablet – from the comfort of your living room, while traveling by bus or train and even while you're away on vacation. In addition, the Indego Connect combines easy operation using an app with its tried-and-tested, unique “LogiCut” navigation system for efficient mowing in lanes. The result is maximum control and convenience plus a minimum 30 percent faster lawn cut compared to random navigation cutting. This is Bosch's idea of Smart Gardening – and the calculation of the optimal time to mow makes the Indego Connect even smarter.

Data transmission to and from the Indego Connect is by means of GSM, the most popular mobile radio standard in the world. The Indego Connect will automatically select the strongest signal in your area, irrespective of the network provider. When using the “Bosch Smart Gardening” app, standard data charges apply (as set out by your mobile network provider). There is however no cost to you for the connection between the Indego Connect and the mobile network.

The Indego 1200 Connect is available for a recommended retail price of 1 299
euros. The “Predictive Mow” and “Weather forecast” functions will be integrated into the “Bosch Smart Gardening” app in mid-2016. All Indego Connect models produced from then on will have these functions as standard. If you have a 2015 generation Indego Connect, this can be upgraded with the new features, free of charge. The mower software can be updated remotely via the Indego Connect system. And a free upgrade to the app will be available in the Google Play Store, Apple App Store or Windows Store.

The “Bosch Smart Gardening” app is available for Smartphones (Android Version 4.1 or higher, iOS Version 6 or higher and Windows Phone Version 8 or higher) as well as tablets (Android Version 4.1 or higher and iOS Version 6 or higher).
