Powerful cordless drill/drivers for professionals which use four different adapters to master virtually any task – this is FlexiClick from Bosch. The system comprises the GSR 14,4 V-EC FC2 Professional and GSR 18 V-EC FC2 Professional cordless drill/drivers and the matching drill chuck, off-set angle and angle adapters. In addition to this, Bosch is now also the first manufacturer to offer a rotary hammer adapter. This makes FlexiClick the most versatile cordless drill/driver system on the market. The applications range from classical screwdriving applications through to drilling in wood, metal and even concrete – using a tool and adapter which have very compact dimensions. This enables professional tradespeople to be very versatile and work precisely even in hard-to-reach areas. This makes work much easier for kitchen builders, cabinet makers and interior fitters because they often have to loosen or drive screws in areas close to edges on cabinets and walls, or even in drill holes in tight gaps. Bosch also offers the only system with which the adapters can remain on the tool when you are adjusting them.

The “FlexiClick” 5-in-1 system at a glance
1. The GSR 14,4 V-EC FC2 Professional and GSR 18 V-EC FC2 Professional cordless drill/drivers have a hex bit holder which can be used with standard bits. They are the only screwdrivers in their class to have a bit lock function and a universal interface with color coding on which the different adapters are mounted.

2. The GFA FC2 Professional drill chuck adapter has an Auto-Lock function, accepts drill bits of up to 13 millimeters and enables precise drilling in tight spaces: The cordless drill/drivers are only 205 millimeters long including drill chuck adapter.

3. The GEA FC2 Professional off-set angle adapter allows for precise screwdriving close to edges. You just have eleven millimeters to the edge. 16 working positions can be set without having to remove the FlexiClick adapter from the cordless drill/driver.

4. The GWA FC2 Professional angle adapter enables tradespeople to drive screws conveniently and precisely even in areas where there is little space. It effectively drives screws round corners and is very compact with its length of 95 millimeters. The angle adapter is also quickly and easily locked in 16 different positions.

5. The GHA FC2 Professional rotary hammer adapter transforms the cordless drill/driver into a powerful SDS-plus rotary hammer with an impact energy of one joule. The hammer mechanism required for this is integrated into the rotary hammer adapter. Unlike conventional combi drills, the GSR 14,4 V-EC FC2 Professional and the GSR 18 V-EC FC2 Professional can therefore even drill effortlessly in concrete. The maximal drilling diameter is ten millimeters. At a length of only 270 millimeters with the adapter mounted, these tools are also much more compact than conventional rotary hammers.

Securely connected in only a few moves
Turn, click, and it’s in place. The four FlexiClick adapters are connected to the cordless drill/drivers in the same way as professional tradespeople are used to connecting keyless chucks: Simply place the adapter on the FlexiClick interface and turn it clockwise. Repeated clicking then indicates a secure connection between the two components – and the system is ready to use.

With the FlexiClick System, Bosch is expanding its “dynamicseries” for professionals – a series of especially compact tools with long battery runtime. Further features of these handy but powerful tools are a high speed to provide a fast work rate and a short battery charging time to meet the user demand for work to be as uninterrupted as possible.

The GSR 14,4 V-EC FC2 Professional and GSR 18 V-EC FC2 Professional cordless drill/drivers in the FlexiClick System will be available at specialist retail outlets from May 2015 onwards in the following versions:
  • with drill chuck adapter, two 4.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries and a quick charger for 339 and 389 euros,
