Robinair provides the entire range of secure and effective maintenance and repair works on automotive A/C of any size. Besides automatic A/C units, the product range also includes diagnostics systems, and electronic and UV leak detectors as well as flushing systems. The international team of developers in the US and Italy permanently work on further improving the technology of Robinair devices. The aim is to guarantee highest standards in performance, safety and efficiency for the daily workshop use.

Current product highlights
New in the Robinair product range is a remote service software for the A/C service device AC788PRO and the types AC 1234-7 and -8. The A/C service device can thus be operated with a remote control. The function Remote Management allows the service employee to control all device functions via Bluetooth, LAN or USB connection. The A/C device can be accessed by the Robinair service center employees with Remote Assistance which allows them to assist the workshop employees online with the calibration or A/C service, and accompany them step-by-step through the test procedure. Moreover, the service center receives information and notes regarding the independent installation of updates via the Remote Software.

Specialist with American roots
Kent-Moore Corporation, the manufacturer of special tools, from Warren, Michigan, founded the subsidiary Robinair in 1956 with the task of developing tools for the repair of technical devices. With the increasing popularity of air conditioning, both for homes and automobiles, Robinair soon focused on service devices in this area, and was able to offer the most complete product range in the entire industry by 1960. In the following decades, Robinair kept leading the way in developing technical milestones. In 1979, the company patented the first refrigerant recovery and recharging station. In 1985, the first A/C service unit with microprocessor control functions entered the market. A machine for the entire A/C service on vehicles with the cooling agent R134a was introduced in 1992. The company kept improving the safety and environmental friendliness of the special tools in many steps of development. In 2006, a Robinair model was the first one to fulfil the demanding industry standard SAE J2788. In 2010, Robinair was granted the global license to operate the AC1234 with the new cooling agent R-1234yf. Since December 2012, the Robinair brand is part of the Automotive Service Solution Business Unit within Bosch Automotive Aftermarket.

With the start of the Automechanika, the new website www.robinair.com will go online, providing easy access to all information regarding Robinair A/C service devices and to their appropriate equipment.
