DIY, model building and hobby work often come down to accuracy. The Dremel Micro now makes precision work even easier. This cordless multitool weighs only 250 grams, is only 20 centimeters long and has an especially slim handle with softgrip coating. You can therefore wrap one hand around it comfortably and guide it in a controlled manner at all times. As a result, filigree work such as routing smaller shapes is made just as effortless as work in hard-to-reach areas, for example to make recesses in cabinets and drawers.

The Micro is the handiest multitool from Dremel. Its compact design is made possible by a new generation of smaller lithium-ion cells. Moreover, the Micro is the first multitool from Dremel to be equipped with a ring-shaped LED light on the head of its housing. The workpiece is therefore always well lit even in poor lighting conditions. This makes work easier especially when performing tricky tasks.

Simple speed setting at the press of a button
Speed control on the Dremel Micro is especially user-friendly. The speed is adjusted in five stages from 5 000 to 28 000 revolutions per minute simply using two buttons on the top of the tool, which enables it to be adapted to each application. The front button of the two is pressed to increase the speed, while the rear button decreases it. A five-stage LED scale makes it quick and easy to see which speed is currently set.

Compact tool with comprehensive accessories
The Dremel Micro is powered by an integrated 7.2 volt lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1.0 Ah. The charging state can be conveniently read at any time on the LED indicator. A new feature is charging by means of a charging station. It is used to store the tool and at the same time also provides space for a number of accessories.

The Dremel Micro will be available at retail outlets from September 2014 onwards. It is supplied including charging station, a padded case for storage, and 35 accessories for grinding, routing, polishing and cutting. The recommended retail price is 119.99 euros including VAT.
