press release

Bosch eBike Systems is delighted to be a main sponsor at the Sparkassen Mountain Bike Festival to be held from 28 to 30 March 2014 at the Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart. In addition to the well-known Dirt Jump Contest, this first festival of its kind will feature as a further highlight a professional eBike race and, of course, a comprehensive programme of accompanying activities. The Festival is also the initial event of the Freeride Mountain Bike (FMB) World Tour, the most important event of the year for all freeride mountain bikers.

The Sparkassen Mountain Bike Festival is a great opportunity to put increasingly popular eMountain bikes through their paces. “Sporting use of eBikes continues to increase. They will play an increasingly important role, especially for mountain bikers whose main focus is on sport and technique. Once you have tried one out you will know what I mean,” says Claus Fleischer, Head of Bosch's eBike Systems product division. “We at Bosch eBike Systems are very happy to support fresh and varied sporting events and are delighted to be able to help shape the Sparkassen Mountain Bike Festival as a main sponsor. It is a one-of-a-kind event for the Stuttgart bike scene and for all keen cyclists.”
