Workshop networking saves time and money
Bosch is seeking to expand workshop networking by paying asanetwork license costs. This will allow the workshops to save time and money by optimizing workflows, avoiding multiple data entries and ensuring all documents are available for invoicing immediately after completion of maintenance or repair work.

The asanetwork workshop network connects testers in the workshop while also providing interfaces for the customer service area and the workshop office. That means customer and vehicle data only needs to be recorded once and is then available at all workstations and on all testing devices, even those from different manufacturers.

If a workshop uses asanetwork-compatible testing and diagnostic equipment from Bosch/Beissbarth, then Bosch will now pay the license fee of EUR 829 that asanetwork GmbH has charged for the network software up to now. No more dongles are required to inform the Netman network manager that the license fee has been paid, as the Bosch/Beissbarth testing device automatically assumes this function. This is also the case if devices from other manufacturers are included in the asanetwork.

Many Bosch/Beissbarth testing devices are now supplied with the asanetwork interface ex works at no extra cost. In some cases, an additional network card is required to connect the device to the workshop network. Netman version 2.9 or later must be installed in order to identify the software in the Bosch/Beissbarth testing device. Download the asanetwork network manager free from www.axonet.de.
