press release

Workpieces made of high-quality metals such as inox and hardened steel require especially careful treatment. Due to a high rate of wear, conventional cutting and grinding discs have to be changed frequently in order to ensure consistently high work quality.

The “Best for Inox” and “Best for Metal” cutting and grinding discs from Bosch provide a remedy for this: high-temperature-treated or ceramic encapsulated abrasive grits with high grain strength are used depending on the type of disc. The abrasive grains are integrated into a phenol resin bond matrix, which is especially temperature and abrasion resistant due to the addition of functional fillers and additives. A high material removal rate and consistently high work quality are achieved as a result of this.

The “Best for Inox” and “Best for Metal” cutting and grinding discs are available now at specialist retail outlets in conventional sizes for angle grinders. The “Best for Inox” cutting discs are available in diameters of 115 to 230 millimeters, while the “Best for Inox” grinding discs are available in diameters of 115 mm and 125 mm. The “Best for Metal” cutting and grinding discs are available in diameters of 115 to 230 millimeters.
