The "Bosch sewing machine man"

Together with his team, Claus Lau equipped his wife's old treadle sewing machine with sensors to explain the basic principles of Industry 4.0 – and thus became known as the "Bosch sewing machine man". Lau shows how analog machines and production facilities can be retrofitted for Industry 4.0 – so-called retrofit solutions.
