Stuttgart – Easy to use and universally applicable: the new Bosch Smart Home Universal Switch II is the perfect addition to the Bosch Smart Home control system. This intelligent switch offers maximum convenience and flexibility for the most important Smart Home functions, even without a smartphone. This makes the Universal Switch II particularly practical for guests, children, senior citizens or anyone who does not always have their smartphone to hand. The Universal Switch II can also be removed from its wall fixture at any time and used as a portable remote control.

Quick and versatile

The four buttons of the Universal Switch II can be assigned in various ways: on the one hand, with predefined usage profiles for tasks such as dimming lights, setting the roller shutter, and activating or deactivating the alarm system; on the other hand, freely according to individual needs for specific devices, scenarios, and automations. The wizard in the Bosch Smart Home app makes configuration child’s play, so the Universal Switch II can be configured according to the needs of its users and ready for use in just a few moments.

Convenient and easy to use

The Universal Switch II is simply and intuitively useable for residents and guests alike. The 36 included and interchangeable symbol stickers make the Universal Switch II easy to understand right away. Palpable embossing on the buttons adds even more convenience by assuring that the switch can be operated unerringly even in the dark, for example, to switch on lights or open roller shutters. The LED strip emits a visual signal in the colours green, orange and red, so the user gets immediate feedback about the status of the input command.

Design in a class of its own

The Universal Switch II is also visually convincing in terms of design: The international jury of the iF Design Awards, consisting of 132 experts, honoured the smart switch for its outstanding product design.
