Renningen research campus: green roofs, photovoltaic systems – and carbon neutrality

Renningen is an all-rounder: electricity demand is covered by green power, and the 460 photovoltaic modules installed on the roofs of buildings generate electricity for the campus’s own use. The completely green roofs means that Bosch requires 20 to 30 percent less energy to air-condition the buildings. The location has its own water treatment plant, which saves some 20,000 cubic meters of drinking water a year.
