Low-range volume and high performance – this user needs is met by the cordless lawnmowers of the new Rotak generation from Bosch. Thanks to Bosch ProSilence technology, they are the quietest cordless high-performance lawnmowers on the market. For example, the guaranteed sound power level in the case of the AdvancedRotak models has been reduced from 90 to 86 decibels. That is 60 percent less – so the lawnmower is significantly quieter. From the lawnmower housing to its motor and blades: All components have been optimized to make cordless lawn care as efficient and quiet as possible. This not only makes the lawnmowers quieter, but also optimized the mowing sound which is now more pleasant. A total of three cordless models from the new Rotak series are available – from the UniversalRotak 36-550 with a 38 centimeters cutting width for lawns up to 550 square meters to the AdvancedRotak 36-750 with a 46 centimeters cutting width for up to 750 square meters.

Optimized design for comfort and ease of use

As with the cable variants, Bosch also implements a new design for the ProSilence cordless lawnmowers: All lawnmowers are available in Bosch Pale Green and Black with a high-quality surface. The UniversalRotak’s tried and tested Ergoflex system provides comfortable and effortless use: The multi-position handle features ergonomically shaped grip zones with softgrip surfaces. It fits perfectly in the hand and offers great flexibility. Be it one-handed or two, left-handed or right, horizontally or vertically – the lawnmower can be controlled from a total of eight different positions. With its Ergoslide system, the AdvancedRotak offers the same benefits plus a telescopic handle, the height of which is exceptionally easy to adjust and which is foldable. That means that the lawnmower is even easier to store. In addition, its rubber overmoulded wheels preserve the lawn

Convenient features from the cutting-height adjustment to the blades

The cordless lawnmowers’ cutting-height system is exceptionally easy to use: Simply press the gray button next to the handle, if you then pull it, the desired cutting height automatically locks into place. The foldable grass box, which can be fitted in a matter of seconds, is also new. The blades feature LeafCollect, a specifically developed side profile which shreds leaves lying on the lawn. The air flow of the lawnmower then transfers them into the box just as it does with grass cuttings. Even the cordless lawnmowers’ grass combs were optimized with increased comfort in mind. They now allow for a cut which is even closer to the ground and saves rework.

The cordless UniversalRotak and AdvancedRotak lawnmowers will be available from spring 2019 onwards. Accessories such as blades are available from the Bosch accessory range. All prices are recommended retail prices including VAT
