Proliferation of Bosch MEMS sensors

MEMS sensors are a key technology for the connected world. Initially used exclusively in motor vehicles, they are now found in nearly every tablet and smartphone. When additionally fitted with a microcontroller, miniature battery, and a tiny radio chip, MEMS sensors are now able to process their readings and send them over the internet to a user’s smartphone, for example.
