Whether you are traveling by car, bicycle, motorbike, or mobile home – with the new UniversalPump 18V cordless pneumatic pump from Bosch users can quickly and conveniently pump up their tires back to the required pressure. For example, even a deviation of just 20 percent in your car tires can considerably increase wear and fuel consumption, reduce the tires' runtime, and increase the risk of accident. The UniversalPump 18V provides a remedy here. In addition, it also pumps up balls and other small inflatable objects such as swimming rings quickly and easily. It is the first cordless pneumatic pump in the ‘18V Power for All System’, which currently comprises more than 40 DIY, garden, and home appliances. In addition, it covers all representative tools per segment – and even extends beyond the Bosch range with additional partners in the cross-brand ‘Power for All Alliance’. All tools – from rotary hammer to lawn mower and even vacuum cleaner – can be operated with the same 18V lithium-ion battery and only one charger. This saves users space and money and protects the environment. For anyone who prefers a handy device for on the go, the popular EasyPump is recommended: it fits in any sports or bicycle bag and in any glove compartment.

High inflating performance for applications up to 10.3 bar

The UniversalPump 18V offers a high inflating performance of 30 liters per minute. This will inflate a medium-sized car tire from 2.0 to 2.5 bar in just some 30 seconds. A single charge of a 2.5 Ah rechargeable battery could inflate 24 such car tires from 2.0 to 2.5 bar or 30 trekking bike tires from 0 to 4.5 bar. The maximum pressure of the UniversalPump 18V is 10.3 bar, 150 PSI and 1050 kPa, and is therefore also suitable for racing bike tires which require the highest pressure at 8 bar and more. Thanks to a three-stage battery status indicator on the tool, users can always see the current charging level while using the pump.

High flexibility and convenience in use and storage

The UniversalPump 18V is easy to handle. Its 67 cm long hose offers freedom of movement and ensures flexibility and convenience in every application. The tool is operated using an accelerator switch and the illuminated pressure gauge makes it easy to read the pressure in all lighting conditions. In addition, the pump’s LED light ensures that valves can also be clearly seen in a dark environment, thus making it easier to connect them to the tool. All the necessary adapters can be found in the integrated accessory compartment at the front of the tool. Whether a ball needle, adapters for the French valves/Presta valves customary on racing bikes, or a volume adapter for a swim ring or a beach ball, everything has its place. The hose, which is textile-coated and therefore kink-proof, is wrapped around the tool. Thanks to this practical storage directly on the device, the compact cordless pneumatic pump can be safely stowed away in a space-saving manner at home, in the car or mobile home, where it is always at hand for the next job.

The UniversalPump 18V is available now. All prices are recommended retail prices including VAT.
