New outdoor equipment for professionals: Bosch is expanding its Professional 18V System with the cordless pole hedge trimmer GHE 18V-50 TP Professional and the cordless pole pruner GKE 18V-25 TP Professional. They complement the cordless garden tool segment, which already includes a lawn mower, brush cutters, grass trimmer, chain saw, leaf blower, and hedge trimmer. This will allow users such as facility managers of small to medium-sized buildings to handle all their tasks with the Professional 18V System – from repairs and maintenance to hedge and tree care – and to switch back and forth flexibly between screwdrivers, saws, angle grinders, and outdoor equipment. The battery system even goes beyond the Bosch range, thanks to multiple partners in the multi-brand AmpShare battery alliance. Many brands. Many tools. One battery system. This saves tradespeople time, space, and money.

The robust and ergonomic tools allow professionals to work efficiently and comfortably at height, thanks to the adjustable telescopic pole – without the need for a ladder. The variable speed trigger allows users to continuously regulate the cutting speed, while the powerful brushless motor ensures high performance and long lifetime. The good tool balance and the included shoulder strap feature ergonomic working. For storage and easy transport, the tools can be disassembled into two parts.

Cordless pole hedge trimmer GHE 18V-50 TP Professional

With the cordless pole hedge trimmer GHE 18V-50 TP Professional, users can quickly and precisely cut young shoots as well as small to medium-sized branches on tall hedges such as conifers, privet, beeches, or yew. Its telescopic pole is adjustable between 2 and 2.5 m. Additionally, the tool head can be pivoted around 120 degrees and locked in seven positions, allowing professionals to work comfortably in various gripping and working positions ‒ whether on low border hedges or tall shaped and windbreak hedges. The GHE 18V-50 TP Professional features a blade length of 50 cm, can cut through branches with a diameter of up to 18 mm using diamond-ground dual-edge blades and has a tooth opening of 23.5 mm. The variable speed of up to 3,400 strokes per minute provides professionals with optimal control. Tried and tested functions such as the Bosch Anti-Blocking system ensure fast and continuous work progress: In case the blades do not manage to cut through the branch in one go, micro-electronics will control the motor to regulate the cutting direction of the blades in such a way that they keep sawing until the cut succeeds. This feature is unique to Bosch.

Cordless pole pruner GKE 18V-25 TP Professional

With the cordless pole pruner GKE 18V-25 TP Professional, users can effortlessly slim down treetops or cut branches at different heights without damaging the tree. The telescopic pole can be adjusted to a length between 2.4 and 2.9 m. The pole pruner features a 25-cm long blade, and its high-quality saw chain reliably cuts through branches up to 23 cm in diameter with an adjustable chain speed of 7.7 m/s. The chain tensioning with magnetic captive nut prevents loss in the field. With the recommended ProCore18V battery with a capacity of 5.5 Ah, the pole pruner can make up to 80 cuts in softwood with a cross-section of 100 mm. The integrated clearing hook helps to clear branches in tight areas with ease.

The cordless pole pruner is now available, the cordless pole hedge cutter will be available starting in July. Prices are recommended retail prices excluding VAT.
