With the new AdvancedDrill and AdvancedImpact 18V-80 QuickSnap from Bosch, DIY enthusiasts can screw and drill even more powerfully and effortlessly than before, even in tight or hard-to-reach areas. The cordless drill driver and impact drill driver are part of the ‘18V Power for All System’ from Bosch. The ‘18V Power for All System’ also covers all representative tools in each segment, currently comprises more than 70 DIY tools, gardening tools, and home appliances, and even extends beyond the Bosch range with additional partners in the cross-brand ‘Power for All Alliance.’ All tools – from rotary hammer to lawn mower and even vacuum cleaner – can be operated with the same 18V lithium-ion battery and only one charger. This saves users space and money and protects the environment. Both cordless drill drivers always deliver ideal performance and maximum endurance for any project, thanks to the optimum coordination of key components, such as the motor and gearbox, in combination with an intelligent electronic control system called ‘Syneon Technology.’ Only Bosch offers this interaction between motor electronics and battery. Because of that, the tools also maintain full performance until the battery is empty. That way, DIYers can drill holes and tighten screws with power right up until the end.

High power, with improved torque and auxiliary handle

The cordless drill driver and impact drill driver are powerful, with maximum torque of around 80 Nm. That makes them suitable for a wide range of different applications, such as tightening screws and drilling holes in wood, metal, tile, or plastic. The impact drill driver can also be used on masonry. The included handle can be attached to the side of the tools for applications requiring extra power, allowing users to hold and guide the tools with both hands for precise, controlled action. The robust metal chuck, with a 13 mm diameter, and the brushless motor ensure that the cordless drill driver and impact drill driver are durable and low maintenance, even in tougher applications. Each model offers 23 torque speeds and a 2-gear drive that delivers the optimum performance and speed for any job. An LED light on the devices ensures better visibility when used in darker areas. Thanks to the charge level indicator, DIY enthusiasts can always keep an eye on the battery status.

Interchangeable attachments for more flexibility

The name says it all: The AdvancedDrill 18V-80 QuickSnap and the AdvancedImpact 18V-80 QuickSnap feature an interface that can be used to hook up the proven QuickSnap attachments, which make use easier in many cases. Combining the tools with an eccentric attachment makes it possible to work as close as 8 mm to edges for tasks such as attaching baseboards. The angle attachment is helpful for drilling in tight spaces or around corners. This same mechanism can also be used to attach the magnetic cap, which makes it easier to pick up screws and holds them firmly in place so that users have one hand free to hold the workpiece.

The AdvancedDrill 18V-80 QuickSnap and the AdvancedImpact 18V-80 QuickSnap will be available from April 2024. All stated prices are recommended retail prices including VAT.
