Bosch is expanding its range of demolition tools and is presenting its first cordless demolition hammer – the GSH 18V-5 Professional. The new tool using the Professional 18V System combines the power of corded tools with the freedom that only a rechargeable battery can offer, all while setting new standards: The GSH 18V-5 Professional is the lightest and most-compact cordless demolition hammer in the five-kilo class thanks to its improved impact mechanism with higher impact energy and reduced drive-train weight. It offers an impact energy of 8.5J and is therefore on par with comparable corded tools such as the GSH 5 CE Professional. This performance is best achieved with a 12.0 Ah battery. The Professional 18V System covers all other major 18V applications – and even goes beyond the Bosch range, thanks to multiple partners in the multi-brand AmpShare battery alliance. Many brands. Many tools. One battery system: All tools – from compact screwdriver to miter saw – can run on the same 18V lithium-ion battery and charger, thus saving tradespeople time, space, and money.
