Longer lifetime and improved ergonomics for versatile applications – that is what the new generation of hot air guns from Bosch stands for: GHG 20-63 Professional and GHG 23-66 Professional in a pistol-grip shape as well as GHG 20-60 Professional in a bar shape. All three models are equipped with powerful motors: Thanks to improved airflow, they offer a 30 percent longer lifetime than the previous models. In addition, the hot air guns feature significantly improved ergonomics thanks to their light weight and their new softgrip design. Carpenters, installers, electricians, roofers, floor layers or car mechanics can work in a practical, effortless and controlled way – regardless of whether they are stripping varnish, paint or window putty, bending pipes, shrinking tubes, soldering copper pipes or welding plastics. The tools are extremely versatile thanks to the extensive range of accessories: Glass protection, surface, reduction and reflector nozzles, a quick-welding shoe and various types of heat-shrink tubes are available.

Hot air gun for universal use: GHG 20-63 Professional

The GHG 20-63 Professional operates at 2000 watts and has a maximum working temperature of 630 degrees Celsius. The hot air gun provides conven-ient air and temperature control for a range of applications in workshops and on construction sites: The air volume can be adjusted in three settings from 150 to 500 liters per minute, and the digital temperature setting in increments of 10 °C at a time. The values are easy to read on the 1.4-inch LCD display. If the heating element of the GHG 23-63 Professional overheats, it automatically switches itself off and is additionally cooled by the blower, which remains in operation. This increases the lifetime of the tool.

For demanding applications: GHG 23-66 Professional

The GHG 23-66 Professional is even more powerful: It operates at 2300 watts and has a maximum working temperature of 650 degrees Celsius. It offers digital temperature adjustment as well as variable airflow control from 150 to 500 liters per minute in increments of ten. This makes the tool especially suitable for demanding applications, for example, the welding of plastic work pieces such as lorry tarpaulins, pond linings or roof sheeting. The temperature and airflow control, which can be read quickly and easily on the 1.4-inch LCD display, offers maximum precision: Temperature-critical work pieces can be melted without burning. Four adjustable programs ensure additional ease of use by making airflow and temperature immediately available for the main applications. If the heating element of the GHG 23-66 Professional overheats, it automatically switches itself off, similar to the GHG 20-63 Professional, and is additionally cooled by the blower, which remains in operation.

Precise results in hard-to-reach areas: GHG 20-60 Professional

Professionals achieve particularly clean and precise results with the GHG 20-60 Professional: Its bar shape makes it possible to work especially flat and close to the material, for example in order to weld PVC or linoleum flooring. Even hard-to-reach areas can be accessed effortlessly and conveniently. The GHG 20-60 Professional operates at 2000 watts and has a maximum working temperature of 630 degrees Celsius. It provides two airflow settings as well as nine temperature settings, which are adjusted using a setting wheel.

The GHG 20-63 Professional, GHG 23-66 Professional and GHG 20-60 Professional hot air guns are available from now onwards. These are the recommended retail prices excluding VAT. Subject to change.
