A new generation for more efficiency: With its cordless drill/driver GSR 18V-55 Professional and the cordless combi drill GSB 18V-55 Professional Bosch offers professionals brushless motors in the entry-level segment for the first time. They have a high level efficiency, are more durable than DC motors commonly used in this class and are maintenance-free at the same time. Carpenters, electrical, sanitary and air-conditioning installers, performing screwdriving applications and drilling in wood, metal and masonry on a daily basis, can thus use two particularly powerful entry models. With a maximum torque of 55 newton meters and up to 1,800 revolutions per minute, both tools ensure a fast work progress. They are suitable for mid-range applications or screw diameters of up to eight millimeters, drill diameters up to 35 millimeters in wood and 13 millimeters in metal. Furthermore, the GSB 18V-55 Professional reliably drills up to 10 millimeters in masonry. The cordless screwdrivers are also more robust than comparable competitor models: They are the only cordless drill/drivers and combi drills in the entry-level segment with metal drill chuck ensuring the best possible torque transfer. The two-speed gearbox is made of metal too and contributes to the robustness of the tools. The equipment is rounded off by an integrated worklight and a belt clip.

Full compatibility in the Bosch Professional 18 V system

The new screwdriver generation is operated by powerful 18 V batteries, which are part of the Bosch Professional 18 V system. Tradespeople can use different batteries – from 2.0 to 5.0 Ah. For particularly power-intensive applications and an even longer runtime, the high-performance batteries ProCore18V with 4.0, 8.0 and 12.0 Ah are available. The Bosch Professional 18 V system guarantees compatibility with new and existing power tools and chargers in this voltage class and thus offers tradespeople planning and cost security.

The cordless drill/driver GSR 18V-55 Professional and the cordless combi drill GSB 18V-55 Professional are available from September 2019. These are the recommended retail prices excluding VAT.
