Headcount development in 2022: some 18,000 more associates

Worldwide, some 420,300 people worked in the Bosch Group as of the December 31, 2022, reporting date. This is some 18,400 more than in the previous year – or roughly 4 percent. Headcount in Germany increased by 2,600 to 133,400. Nearly half this total growth was among associates in research and development. The supplier of technology and services has a workforce of 84,800 in this area – 44,000 of them software developers.
