Green laser diodes for optimum visibility: New combi and line lasers from Bosch for pros

High precision, robust design, simple operation – this is what the combi laser GCL 2-50 G Professional and the line laser GLL 2-15 G Professional stand for. Both tools were optimized based on user feedback and are particularly suitable for applications in a bright environment: When leveling in window areas, for example, their green laser lines are up to four times more visible than the red laser lines of comparable tools. In addition, both devices are particularly robust: With a rubberized housing and recessed front glasses, they are protected against impact. They also have IP64 certification and are thus insensitive to dust and splash water. Tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, fitters and drywall builders can operate both tools easily and intuitively. Each device has a single button for setting the desired line configurations. This minimizes measurement errors. The pendulum lock is activated automatically as soon as the device is switched off. Both tools level themselves in less than four seconds and compensate for surface irregularities of up to ±4 degrees with high accuracy. If the laser cannot self-level due to serious surface irregularities, the laser lines will flash. Furthermore, the function for working with the receiver no longer needs to be set in separately with the GCL 2-50 G Professional: The combi laser detects the optional LR 7 Professional automatically. Tradespeople can start immediately and thus extend the working range from up to 15 to up to 50 meters.

Combi and line laser for versatile tasks in interior fitting

The combi laser GCL 2-50 G Professional is suitable for a large number of interior fitting tasks. Exact transmission of fire detectors or light grids, alignment of tiles and pipes or marking reference points for drywalls or ceiling lamps – the combi laser offers proven advantages: It projects one horizontal and one vertical laser line each as well as two centered plumb points on the floor and ceiling, which are also green. Tradespeople who do not require plumb points for their applications and for whom a maximum working range of up to 15 meters is sufficient, can go for the line laser GLL 2-15 G Professional.

Robust accessories, flexible fastening options

For versatile tasks, both lasers can be used with a mount, the design of which has also been optimized with regard to durability and precision: Thanks to its new base, the RM 10 Professional rotation mount belonging to the GCL 2-50 G Professional provides even better access to the plumb points and can be finely adjusted. The LB 10 Professional supports the GLL 2-15 G Professional with its stable frame and thus supports precise results. Both mounts offer flexible fastening options: They are simply screwed to wooden beams or adhere to iron girders and other magnetic components due to particularly strong magnets. If the height of a suspended ceiling is to be checked, for example, both lasers can be easily attached to existing profiles using the height-adjustable DK 10 Professional ceiling clamp. With the GCL 2-50 G Professional, the rotation mount also ensures that the laser lines can be aligned in a radius of 360 degrees around the plumb points – the combi laser does not have to be repositioned to do this. Furthermore, both lasers can be mounted on standard tripods with a ¼” thread.
