Keep measuring accuracy to the point: The new GPL 3 G Professional and GPL 5 G Professional point lasers from Bosch. Both tools are especially suitable for use in brighter indoor areas: Their green laser points are up to four times more visible than red laser points. The tools are also more robust than ever and are reliable companions during everyday work on construction sites: Thanks to a rubberized housing with damping elements and recessed glasses, they are protected against impact. They also have IP65 certification and are thus insensitive to dust and water jets. The integrated rotating mount is another advantage: Professionals can therefore set up the point lasers very easily.

Efficient and precise setup – reference points always in view

With GPL 3 G Professional and GPL 5 G Professional, applications succeed with pinpoint accuracy even over long distances of up to 30 meters. The lasers differ in the number of the laser points they project: With its three laser points at the bottom, at the top and at the front, the GPL 3 G Professional is suitable, for example, for aligning dry wall profiles, door or window frames. The laser also makes it easier to install elevators. The GPL 5 G Professional features two additional laser points on the left and right and thus the possibility of efficiently and precisely dividing rooms in drywall construction at a 90-degree angle.

Easy handling due to an integrated rotating mount

The point lasers feature an integrated rotating mount for the first time. It can be turned 360 degrees, is very compact and is fitted with strong magnets. The point lasers can therefore be quickly and easily attached to magnetic construction parts for alignment. If the point lasers are used on the ground, their rubber bases ensure stability. The new tool design also enables easier positioning over drywall profiles: The rotating mount is offset to the rear so that the plumb point of the tool lies directly over the profile. This also makes work easier. For transportation, simply turn the rotating mount by 180 degrees – then the point laser is extremely compact.

Both tools level themselves in less than four seconds and compensate for surface irregularities of up to ± 4 degrees. If the lasers cannot self-level due to serious surface irregularities, the laser points will flash. The simple switch-on and switch-off mechanism makes operation of the point lasers intuitive. They are operated with two AA batteries and their runtime is up to eight hours. In this way, the reliable measuring tools accompany their user through the working day.

The GPL 3 G Professional and GPL 5 G Professional point lasers will be available from March. All specified prices are recommended retail prices excluding VAT.
