Efficient accessories for the toughest applications: Bosch offers the most extensive carbide range on the market – and is now extending it with two new jigsaw blades for versatile, fast cuts in wood and laminated materials. The “Expert Hardwood fast” and the “Expert Laminate clean” achieve a previously unheard of service life with carbide types optimized to the application and a special welding technology: For applications in particularly hard, demanding materials, for example, cement-bound chipboard, they offer a service life up to 50 times longer than bimetal saw blades customary in the market. Professionals in woodworking trades are thus perfectly equipped for applications in various wood and synthetic materials ‒ and with no more tedious saw blade changes.

Optimized saw blade design for fast, efficient cuts

Both jigsaw blades have an optimized design so that all sawing work can be carried out efficiently and quickly: With the “Expert Hardwood fast”, welded-on carbide teeth with an individual ground finish, a progressively increasing tooth pitch and an inclined blade shape achieve a more aggressive cut and thus rapid work progress – irrespective of the material thickness and hardness. Carpenters, joiners or patio builders can thus draw on a universal problem-solver for fast, coarse cuts. The “Expert Laminate clean” is available for interior fitting joiners and floor installers who have to make efficient cuts in different laminated materials. The jigsaw blade cuts without tears with precisely ground, counter-acting aligned teeth rows even in particularly hard laminate and floors subject to extremely high stress levels such as those used intensively in commercial areas. This includes, for example, High Pressure Laminate-boards, Trespa or glass-fibre reinforced vinyl.

75 years of Bosch jigsaw competencies for almost every application

The leading innovator for jigsaws and jigsaw accessories is writing history: The Bosch subsidiary Scintilla filed for the first patent in the world 75 years ago. Since then, Bosch has consistently developed the jigsaw. Craftspeople today can draw on a wide product range to saw quickly, powerfully, tidily and with a low level of tearing. Just as the first jigsaws, the first jigsaw blades also come from Switzerland – where they are still produced today. With more than 6.5 trillion jigsaw blades produced, Bosch has established a wide product range: Problem solvers for special applications are, for example, the “Clean for Plastic Composites” for plastic composites such as Trespa boards or “Endurance for Stainless Steel” for high-alloy steel. Furthermore, “Endurance for Fibre Plaster” can be used to efficiently process dry construction materials such as cement-bound fibre boards, or “Special for Ceramics” for ceramics, or “Clean for Carbon Fibre” for carbon fibres. Bosch rounds off the offer with jigsaw blades for a very wide variety of applications: Apart from the “Expert Hardwood fast” and the “Expert Laminate clean”, in the carbide range, for example, craftspeople can also use the “Progressor for Wood+Metal” for clean cuts in wood and metal composite materials.

The carbide jigsaw blades “Expert Hardwood fast” and “Expert Laminate clean” are suitable for all jigsaws with the T-shank holder. They are available with immediate effect in the specialized trade, also as an addition to the jigsaw sets “Wood” and “Wood & Metal”.
