Whether at sub-zero temperatures on the construction site or in drafty building shell – the new heated jacket GHJ 12+18V XA Professional from Bosch heats professionals up to “working temperature” within three minutes. Bosch further developed the range of heated workwear based on customer requirements and now offers, in addition, the hoodie GHH 12+18V XA Professional and the vest GHV 12+18V XA Professional. Planners and tradespeople can therefore equip themselves for cold days as desired. The jacket, hoodie and vest are heated with a 12 or 18 V battery from the Bosch Professional series. The carbon heating elements in the chest and back area are connected to the battery via an adapter and guarantee an optimum heat distribution.

Heated jacket with even more wearing comfort

The jacket GHJ 12+18V XA Professional provides reliable, long-lasting heat for the wearer with three heat stages. Its wind- and weather-resistant softshell material is lighter than the predecessor which, together with the improved cut, guarantees more freedom of movement. At the same time, wearers are also efficiently warmed up when working in a bent over position thanks to the extended back section and repositioning of the heating elements from the upper to the lower back area. The jacket has a total of six pockets, which can be used for work materials, cellphone or tablet, documents such as building plans or assembly instructions, as well as pen and notepad. The jacket is resistant to the weather, contamination and wear and can be cleaned easily and quickly: It is suitable for washing machines and dryers. Its modern design and functional details, such as chin protection and windstopper inserts in the sleeves, make it a partner suitable for any weather ‒ also outside the construction site.

Greater flexibility thanks to hoodie and vest

The heated hoodie GHH 12+18V XA Professional is now available for tradespeople who also prefer hoodie shirts for work at low temperatures. Its functional material made of polyester and spandex is even more flexible than the softshell jacket material. The button for switching on the battery is easily accessible in all heatwear in the series above the Bosch logo on the chest. Two large zipper pockets provide plenty of space for cellphone, work utensils and documents.

The heated vest GHV 12+18V XA Professional offers additional arm freedom. It is made from the same softshell material as the jacket and has a windstopper hem at the top of the arm. This ensures that no wind can penetrate the interior of the vest. The vest has three pockets. The left inside pocket of the vest contains the battery and adapter – as with the jacket and hoodie.

A 2.0 Ah battery with 12 V supplies the heating elements with power for up to seven hours via the GAA 12V-21 Professional adapter supplied, depending on the selected heating level. Thanks to the USB port, the adapter can be used not only to heat the garment but, at the same time, to charge a cellphone. To prevent unwanted energy consumption, a control button activates the USB port only when needed. As an option, owners of the 18 V series can still use the adapter GAA 18V-24 Professional.

Jacket, hoodie, and vest are each available now in unisex sizes S to 3XL. All specified prices are recommended retail prices excluding VAT.
