Simple sanding and polishing of different surfaces: with the first cordless Disc Sander and Polisher on the market, the EasyCurvSander 12 from Bosch, DIY enthusiasts now benefit from even more flexibility. The 12 volt tool incorporates new sanding technology: Three rotating and movable sanding discs adapt to different surfaces – from flat to round or curved. The EasyCurvSander 12 is therefore also suitable for sanding tasks with inwardly curved surfaces, for example wooden chair backs, which can only be sanded evenly with difficulty using conventional tools. In addition, the EasyCurvSander 12 quickly and easily sands surfaces that are curved outwards – for example, wooden bowls or rounded seating surfaces. For quick results in every project, Bosch provides DIY enthusiasts with long-lasting sanding nets instead of sanding paper. Thanks to their open net structure, the sanding nets guarantee a high material removal rate in combination with the sanding disc technology. At the same time, they are less susceptible to clogging with sanding dust or residual paint and are easier to clean. This leads to a considerably longer service life in comparison with conventional sanding paper. Regardless of whether wood, painted surfaces or metal are to be sanded or polished, the EasyCurvSander 12 always makes surfaces easily and quickly silky smooth.

Noticeably satisfying sanding experience thanks to unique technology

With its compact design and a weight of only 500 grams, the EasyCurvSander 12 is easy to hold – and offers DIY enthusiasts a noticeably pleasant sanding experience. In comparison to tools in the same voltage class with conventional sanding technology, it has 50 percent less vibration and is up to 60 percent quieter. This is based on the rotating sanding discs: Whereas conventional sanders operate with a vibrating or oscillating sanding movement, the unique sanding technology guarantees a lower transmission of vibrations – and is therefore easy on the ears. In addition, the EasyCurvSander 12 can be attached to all conventional Bosch vacuum cleaners via a dust extraction attachment. Simply click on the extraction attachment and fasten to the tool with the elastic band – and off you go. Dust is now extracted directly where it originates.

Versatile thanks to variable speed control

Its variable speed control allows the EasyCurvSander 12 to be adapted quickly to the material being processed – making it versatile for any project. The first level is designed for polishing, the second for sanding off lacquer and the third for sanding off wood. Vehicle enthusiasts can also polish vehicle paintwork and after a weekend trip, for example, they can use polishing paste and polishing sponges to restore the shine to the motorcycle's coating. The polishing sponges are suitable for polishing painted surfaces, chrome or leather and are available in the accessories program. If work has to be carried out on small areas or in tight spaces, the two rear sanding discs can be removed and you can comfortable polish shoes for example. A powerful 12 volt lithium-ion battery with 2.5 Ah guarantees a long runtime: It provides the Disc Sander and Polisher with sufficient power to work on furniture and, for example, to completely sand a wooden chair or a chest of drawers with a single battery charge. A three-stage battery charge display on the front side of the tool indicates at all times how much longer the EasyCurvSander 12 can still be operated.
