Diesel retains advantage with regard to fuel consumption and environmental impact

Bosch engineers have made a decisive breakthrough in diesel technology. A combination of advanced fuel-injection technology, a newly developed air management system, and intelligent temperature management has made record readings of 13 mg NOx per kilometer possible. Some 3,500 associates in the company’s exhaust-gas treatment and exhaust sensors units generated sales of 2.3 billion euros in 2018. This figure is set to reach 3 billion euros by 2025.
