The first cordless random orbit sanders from Bosch for professionals give surfaces the right finish – and make mobile use particularly easy. The GEX 12V-125 Professional is a reliable companion for anyone who mainly works vertically or overhead. It is the only 12V cordless random orbit sander in the professional segment and joins a whole range of very compact tools for woodworking such as jigsaws, edge routers and FlexiClick screwdrivers in the Professional 12V System. The GEX 18V-125 Professional from the Professional 18V System is ideal for larger and horizontal surfaces. High-performance brushless motors make both tools extremely efficient. Their design combines the best features of previous pneumatic tools: A handy palm rest at the front and a slim grip close to the workpiece − and thus clearly differs from the bulky tower shape of comparable cordless models of competitors. The GEX 12V-125 Professional and GEX 18V-125 Professional can be easily operated with just one hand or both hands while their proximity to the workpiece offers optimum tool control. This makes the orbit sanders much more ergonomic than common models on the market.

Flexible in use from coarse sanding to finishing

Professionals can use the random orbit sanders for tasks ranging from coarse sanding through to a perfect finish. The tools are suitable for traditional wood applications as well as for sanding during dry construction or when painting. Automotive paint repairs can also easily be performed. The required speed can be set intuitively by means of an adjustment wheel. Depending on the material and surface there are also different sanding pads, e.g. soft for sanding concave or convex surfaces. The scope of delivery also includes a medium sanding pad for practically every application. A hard sanding pad is recommended for efficient sanding of large flat wooden surfaces. The Bosch range of accessories also includes suitable sanding sheets, e.g. C470 Best for Wood and Paint for a high removal rate. No matter what you are sanding: The dust bag, which can be connected to the dust adapter, enables low dust working. Thanks to the Click & Clean function, the tool can also be connected to a dust extraction device, e.g. the GAS 18V-10 L Professional wet/dry extractor, which is also cordless.

The random orbit sanders can be operated with all batteries from the respective 12V or 18V system: Bosch ensures compatibility with new and existing power tools and chargers within the respective voltage class. To ensure an efficient work process, Bosch recommends the ProCore18V with 4.0 Ah for the GEX 18V-125 Professional, which gives the powerful random orbit sander a runtime of around one hour. Professionals can see how much power is still available at any time from the battery status indicator. For the compact 12V GEX 12V-125 Professional, Bosch recommends a 3.0 Ah battery. The charge level indicator is located on the tool.

The GEX 12V-125 Professional and GEX 18V-125 Professional random orbit sanders are available from May. The prices are recommended retail prices excluding VAT.
