Fast, clean, safe and comfortable sawing: With the UniversalChain 35 and UniversalChain 40, Bosch is launching two new corded chainsaws with blade lengths of either 35 or 40 centimeters on the market – and is placing the focus firmly on user comfort and safety. Both saws offer a new design with lateral oil tank for the chain lubrication. In contrast to chainsaws with the opening on the rear of the power tool, this means that topping up with oil is easier and cleaner. The oil filter is located at the bottom of the tank. The oil flows in cleanly and does not ooze out again. A specially developed thread ensures that the sealing cap can be screwed off and on with only two to three turns. Chain lubrication takes place automatically. Oil-smeared, slippery handles and contaminated saw blades are now a thing of the past.

Whether you are turning timber or tree trunks into firewood, neatly pruning branches or small to medium-sized trees, or removing old garden fences: The chainsaws are easy to operate and handle. The chainsaw guarantees a high cutting performance with its combination of the automatic lubrication system and a powerful 1,800-Watt motor with a chain speed of 12 meters per second. The Bosch SDS system makes tool-free and simple tensioning, adjusting and servicing of the chain possible in just a few steps. A symbol on the blade indicates the assembly direction of the chain. Additional control and safety is provided by a stable hand guard with integrated kickback braking system: The kickback protection stops the saw immediately to protect users in case of jamming. The new product design with a clear and well-balanced style, reduced number of control elements and a calm and serene silhouette guarantees the best possible handling comfort. The complete equipment of the chainsaws and their light weight are designed to make sawing as easy as possible ‒ so that every cut fits.

The UniversalChain 35 and UniversalChain 40 chainsaws are available now. All prices are recommended retail prices including sales tax.
