Bosch Tech Day 2022

Our modern technological world hinges on highly miniaturized components. Whether we are pedaling our e-bikes, using the lane assist system in our cars, or drilling a hole in the wall – powerful chips are at the heart of all electronic systems, and act as the pacemakers for the mobility of the future and the internet of things. Bosch doesn’t only develop technology that is “Invented for life,” but has also been making the semiconductors that this technology requires for more than 60 years now. In Reutlingen and – for a year now – in Dresden, the company operates advanced wafer fabs for precisely this purpose.

Learn what Dr. Stefan Hartung, the chairman of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH, and other Bosch experts have to say about the strategic significance of semiconductors for Bosch, and how these make it possible to create technology “Invented for life.” What semiconductor technologies has the company decided to focus on? How much Bosch technology is there in our daily lives?
