The latest generation of high-performance microelectromechanical inertial sensors from Bosch supply several systems with the required data. This "one-sensor-for-all" approach is pursued by the SMU300 and SMI980 from Bosch, among others, which are already being used for driver assistance in the inertial sensor unit or in the airbag control unit.
