In the commercial vehicle sector as well, previously distributed vehicle functions are increasingly being consolidated onto centralized computing platforms, for example within the cockpit and vehicle domains. Software and hardware are being consistently decoupled. Bosch and its subsidiary ETAS are developing the required centralized E/E architectures, including high-performance, scalable vehicle computers, as well as the corresponding software platforms.
