Bosch believes that structural change in the industry and the upcoming introduction of the Euro7 regulation put the automotive sector in a challenging transition phase. The company has set out to help the automotive industry transition to sustainable mobility, while safeguarding jobs at the same time. Electric cars are already carbon neutral when they run on renewable electricity, and the same goes for diesel and gasoline cars – provided they run on synthetic fuels. Bosch is of the opinion that the upcoming Euro7 regulation shouldn’t squander this opportunity to mitigate global warming using existing vehicles.
