Bosch has reaffirmed its business expectations in the growth area of hydrogen: by 2030, its sales with hydrogen technology could reach 5 billion euros. China will most likely be the leading market for mobile fuel cells at first; the supplier of technology and services does not expect to see major growth in Europe or North America until the next decade. From a technical point of view, hydrogen engines are Bosch’s best option for a fast track toward climate-neutral commercial-vehicle transportation. Bosch expects the market for this technology to be worth almost 1 billion euros by 2030.
