According to preliminary figures, Bosch once again generated record sales of 77.9 billion euros in 2018. The Industrial Technology business sector enjoyed particularly strong growth. Sales in Mobility Solutions rose by 2.3 percent, or 4.7 percent after adjusting for exchange-rate effects, to 47 billion euros, and thus grew faster than global automotive production. Consumer Goods recorded sales of 17.8 billion euros. Adjusted for exchange-rate effects, this was an increase of 0.9 percent, and a nominal decrease of 3.2 percent. In Industrial Technology, sales rose by 8.9 percent to 7.4 billion euros. This is equivalent to an increase of 11 percent after adjusting for exchange-rate effects. Energy and Building Technology achieved sales of 5.5 billion euros, which equates to an increase of 2.3 percent, or 4.7 percent after adjusting for exchange-rate effects.
