For the second time in a row, Bosch Car Services received a top ranking in the category “independent workshops” at the German Fairness Prize “Deutscher Fairness-Preis”. In 2015, the Deutsche Institute für Service-Qualität (German Institute of Service Quality) and the news channel n-tv awarded the prize for the second time ever. Once again they asked the consumers to evaluate the fairness of companies towards their customers. Therefore, the organizers collected and analyzed a total of approximately 45 000 customer opinions about more than 400 companies. At the “independent workshops” category, the customers asked considered Bosch Car Services to be particularly fair, reliable and transparency. They thus highly voted Bosch Car Service workshops. As deputy for the Bosch Car Services, Heike Niehues, commercial director for Bosch workshop concepts, received the prize in Berlin in early October.

How fair, reliable and transparent are German companies?
In order to determine the fairest companies, the customers were asked questions such as: Does the company offer a fair price-performance ratio? Is there a transparent communication of product features, contractual services and prices? Can the customers trust the reliability of the products and services offered? Apart from brand-linked and independent automotive workshops, companies operating in different sectors – reaching from computer manufacturers and cruise operators to travel business, online shops and insurance companies – were analyzed as well. This year, the organizers evaluated companies operating in a total of 35 different sectors. “For us, the ‘Deutscher Fairness-Preis’ award, once again documenting the trust car drivers have in the work of Bosch Car Services, is both a duty and an incentive to continuously improve both the customer orientation and the service quality,” Niehues said at the award ceremony.

Bosch Car Services – the workshop network with the longest tradition worldwide.
More than 90 years ago, the Bosch Car Service full-service workshop concept was founded under the name of Bosch Dienst. On a worldwide scale, it is thus the workshop concept with the longest tradition. This workshop network consists of independent companies meeting the high Bosch quality standards. The workshops are equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and test equipment and have up-to-date knowledge concerning both maintenance and repair of latest vehicle systems thanks to regular trainings. Bosch tests the service quality of Bosch Car Service workshops regularly by means of independent workshop tests. To this day, there are some 16 500 Bosch Car Service workshops in 150 countries. Every year, 50 million cars are maintained and repaired by the Bosch Car Service network – that is, three vehicles every two seconds. All together, the Bosch Car Service workshops worldwide have some 90 000 employees.
