press release

The 12 kg GBH 12-52 DV Professional and GBH 12-52 D Professional rotary hammers from Bosch offer maximum performance in their class during drilling and chiseling. Both tools are powered by a 1700 watt motor which delivers 19 joules of impact energy. Their performance is therefore much higher than the predecessor model. They are therefore especially suitable for horizontal demolition work, correction tasks or chiseling tasks which call for high chiseling performance. The GBH 12-52 DV Professional model is also equipped with triple vibration damping. This damping system consists of a mass damper integrated into the aluminum cap, a decoupled main handle and a vibration-optimized hammer mechanism. As a result of these features, the rotary hammer achieves low vibration levels of 10 m/s² when drilling and 8 m/s² when chiseling – 50 percent less than the previous model. The permitted operation time of the GBH 12-52 DV Professional is therefore more than 2 hours per day and per user. In combination with the high removal rate, this ensures faster work progress.

Simple chiseling, long service life
Both rotary hammers have a trigger lock for simple chiseling in continuous operation. The trigger lock is automatically activated as soon as the user switches from drilling mode to chiseling mode. The “Turbo Power” function of the GBH 12-52 DV Professional ensures optimized performance because it transforms the energy required for rotation in drilling mode into additional chiseling power. Tradespeople can therefore, for example, chisel cable ducts or openings for windows and doors extremely quickly.

Both tools are designed for tough applications. Robust metal components ensure a long service life for the tools. Other features of the rotary hammers include constant electronics for continuous performance, as well as a service display which shows when a carbon brush has to be changed.

Everything from a single source: Complete system from Bosch
Bosch offers tradespeople a complete system comprising professional power tools, dust extraction systems and accessories. The new 12 kg rotary hammers are part of this system. Tradespeople can use the related extraction systems from Bosch for drilling and chiseling, and therefore work more efficiently while simultaneously protecting their health and the tools.*

The GBH 12-52 DV Professional and GBH 12-52 D Professional rotary hammers are available at specialist retail outlets at the recommended sales price of 1,349 and 1,199 euros respectively plus VAT. They are supplied in a carrying case which contains a great deal of space for accessories.
