press release

The 5330 Multisaw from Skil is a multipurpose tool for sawing and cutting a variety of materials – from wood and wood composites through plastics to tiles and metal. Compared with similar competitor models it offers a high performance of 600 watt combined with a high speed of 6,000 rpm and a maximum cutting depth of 28.5 millimeters. Furthermore, the tool has a user-friendly plunge function. Thanks to these product features, the 5330 Multisaw ensures fast work progress and is suitable for just about any regular DIY job, such as cutting shelves, laminate, plastic and aluminum profiles, making cutouts in worktops and cutting tiles. This makes the mini hand-held circular saw 5330 a universal helper for any DIY project.

Compact tool with precision-adjustable cutting depth
The 5330 Multisaw works in much the same way as a regular circular saw, but is considerably smaller, lighter and more compact. This makes it very easy to operate and guide, even with one hand. The tool comes supplied with two hardened steel saw blades for sawing wood, wood composites, plastics and aluminum as well as a diamond cutting disc for tile work. The plunge function is ideal for making cutouts, e.g. for power outlets or ventilation grids: to cut out a surface or to cut grooves, all the DIY enthusiast needs to do is position the saw and lower the saw blade or the cutting disc at the press of a button. Cutting depth can be set with millimeter accuracy.

Quick and easy accessory changes
The supplied accessories – two saw blades with 80 teeth for fast and clean cuts as well as a diamond cutting disc – are rugged. Switching from one blade to another can be done quickly and easily thanks to the spindle lock: simply release the sole plate, push the spindle lock, undo the hexagon bolt, change the blade, retighten the hexagon bolt, close the sole plate – and get back to work.

The tool's features are completed by softgrip, a vacuum cleaner adapter and a signal lamp at the end of the handle. The lamp indicates that the tool is plugged in.

The 5330 Multisaw is now available at a recommended retail price of EUR 99.99 including sales tax. It is supplied in a box including a hexagon wrench, two saw blades, a diamond cutting disc, a parallel stop and a vacuum cleaner adapter. Saw blades and diamond cutting discs are available as accessories.
